  3. My mate picked up a hw97k .22 for 70 quid, I haven't seen or shot it yet, but its suppose to have a fairly marked up stock..but who cares for 70 notes Lol can't wait to see it now..in all fairness itl probably be forsale shortly as he goes through stages

  5. Iv just taken the plunge and ordered one off opticswarehouse.com the rockmount tilt 9-13 51 quid delivered
  6. I know what your saying ..but the land I shoot ,the rabbits are fairly hard work..you can get about 45yrds if your lucky..its very hilly and bushes all around..so with everything combined together I really want the confidence shooting further ranges off a bipod ..before doing it free hand etc the land is as awekward as they come ..judging distance with where the pellet will land up or down steep bankings is quite a pain..just in need of a confidence boost mate at further distances..
  7. i had one for my 8th birthday , and my gf son had one for his 10th birthday..he's quite slight so the weight is good although he's 11 now and a year makes a diffrence lol
  8. That's the similar sound u can hear with the hw mod on my mares r10, it makes a whistle noise , that's just the pellet, from around 30-35yrds
  9. What's your thoughts on this Bipods? It pans etc but can you tilt to level crosshairs ? Thanks
  10. When they've done tests before for silencers they ranged from 60-70db, in the 90's seem high
  11. Lol you know why I thought it was? Because , why would someone think " the boot" Lol and it would have been stupid not to take all your gear Haha sound like a clepto myself but it just came to me because someone would have known or seen you put them in there etc
  12. But why are u replacing it if its good Lol
  13. I had a 35quid nikko sterling 3-9-40 on my springer,,shot loads with it , clear enough for day shooting , but bought my second scope which was a *50 night eye which was great , but the front lense came loose , I then had a replacement in *44 which is now on my mates gun as I have a panarama 3-9*40 ev ao , and its by far the clearest scope iv used , really light weight and offers good intake of light in dark..when lamping , couldn't tell the diffrence between this *40 scope and my night eye *50 or *44 scope ..I don't think I'd bother going for another scope as I'm now getting used to it being a

  15. Rake you don't beat round the bush do you Haha.. Smks are ok for a person with fads ..but serious, my mate had smk for two weeks , bought xocet then hw95 and now r10 Lol he spent 150 for smk and for the hw95 gas RAM ,, it was in perfect nick ..moral of the story , if u like shooting and want to get in to it..your better off buying sh air rifle butt ..atb
  16. Surely it would of been better to just ring u if he thought there was something wrong with it..just goes to show how some people can be complete twats ..I would of demanded cash on the spot .. no respect at all , go fettle with his car and your explanation can be the same as his ..prick
  17. I was reading on daystate owners forum that the skirts are just to be fussy etc and doesn't really matter and quoted from some top shooter, I can't recall his name ..but pointed out that unless the head is damaged he doesn't bin the pellet , soft pellets skirts will puff out once the pressure from the gun is released behind it...sort of makes sense though doesn't it? I don't know what you lot call damaged..could be diff to me, but all the pellets I used to throw I now shoot unless the skirt is completely flat obviously Lol
  18. The second vid keeps saying its private , nice vid the first one mate
  19. I think there about 20ft lb they have a larger cylinder than other springs thus giving more power/air per sweep, so take less effort of the spring..it should have slightly more recoil than sub 12ft lbs ..what I can gather , I'm not totally sure about that as I have no experience with one but it all makes sense, in my little brain Lol
  20. And the more f****d off with yourself you get, the worse it becomes Lol joys
