not a bad offer if someones off the road, but people who have permission , good permission will always have a mate in tow with transport, atb

cracking idea lol no offence to any other bit of the forum, but comparing the dog side, to the aigun hunting side of the forum, its two ends of the spectrum, on the airgunning side, you only ever get sensible answers, abit of banter and a abit of friendly advice, but the lurchers and running dog sides seem to vary, with very knowledgable people who are happy to help, to totall piss takes..

lurchers like to keep the owners happy and like to please, thats whats great about em
-
cracking read..didnt wanna stop lol hope your lurcher gets better soon, its a nightmare where you hear them whimper, as their quite tough dogs, so you know something aint right, but sounds like shes getting better mate..atb

how old are these guns? my mate does scrap metal, and when dumping his metal at local scrappys, seen someone chucked a gun out the back so went over and picked it up...its abit battered to say the least, but hes thinking of restoring it

why dont you go on airgunbuyer, blackpool air rifles and see if you airgun is specicfied in the V-mach kits, the guy who tuned webleys i think "venom tuning" is the same guy but it went bust, so i believe anyway, but the kits arent all power power power, its too make it smoother , quieter and more consistant..i think there about 60-70quid with DIY instructions too..atb

i dont raise her food bowl and she gets down the that aswell, only diffrence between running and standing still is when there running full spread they loose around 3 inches lol i will say that a dog can be to heavy, which can be percieved as too big, but as the height has been mentioned i dont think it matters..atb with our lanky trotters :L -

my bitch when it was about 10-12months old was 29tts as she is now, but started picking stuff up like subway rappers at full pelt...so the myth, as it must be a myth, that big dogs are to big for rabbits its cobblers, in my opinion as a rabbit is abit thicker than a subways rapper -
i know , i thought my shooting would of gone better :L bloody typical! i think its just me getting used to the scope and the kit, as i can shoot it tidy, ish haha, but its at diffrent distances..im sure il get to grips with it before long.. going from spring to pcp i kept expecting recoil , this was putting my shooting off, but i seem to be getting better..just adjusting i suppose, il have a look at the postcode and am greatful youd take the time out mate, il have a butchers now.. the car is finally going to a garage tommorow to stop this leak, been driving me crazy lol atb an thanks again

I was only messing fella, I love the feel of gun Im just having a few teething problems causing me to over react.... and me mate..look at the reviews of the daystate and everyones fudging themselves over it lol i was pissed off for a week with my gun down to power being low..waiting for the seals was a nightmare an all..still havent put it over the chrono, for all i know me changing the seal hasnt changed it abit lol fingers crossed though or its going back
-
..so bottom line is, is practice your arse off, learn what equiptment you have at diffrent ranges, with the methods been given, an practice some more lol...i used to be a crackin shot, with a springer and normal scopes...iv now got a pcp and AO scopes (never used them before) and im shockin, i thought a pcp would enhance my shots, but im finding it more difficult than a springer...believe it or not. whenever i take a shot, i think i have to compensate for recoil...i suppose its me adjusting to a new gun too thats making it tricky...and when i say im shockin...im not that bad, but worse than i
-
lol im asuming no one likes daystate, shit i should of gone for a bsa lol i bought 10 probe o rings for £1.90 mate, and problem resolved , nothing is moving, and if you think itll move a bath towel, you deffo need to change it, because your shooting at 5ft lbs lol
-

just a fekin question thats all and how meny of this cross have you seen. i didnt mean it arsey, its just the way i speak, iv seen a few but obviously not as many as you probably have seen, down to your age, no offence but i think you said they were popular 30yrs ago, i wouldnt know this as im 20...but im not a 20yr old that thinks he knows it all either...you asked our opinions and i gave mine...i dont think theres any diffrence, and neither does my old man who read the thread earlier...and hes had running dogs for about 30 yrs, first being a whippet and many collie crosses over the yrs...an -
just fitted my probe seals and done the tissue test and also put oil in my breech and fired and no movement atall, im puting this down to the power and inconsistency iv been having, il be putting it back over the chrono later..fingers crossed. p.s always check ya seals on pcps lol
