    If its just walking, yank the f****r back..constantly ,when u feel the lead go a little bit tight pull it back..when u see quarry I think its acceptable myself..u can't want a dog to get something..and then expect it not to pull and try and get at it..although there will be people who beg to differ

    Sounds to me,he has an imaginery friend that has been in the dog game for years that he doesn't like to listen too, post pics up constantly of his dog because he's insecure about it, only puts threads up that he only wants to hear all the praise, when unfortunately the lad has made himself out to be a complete twat. Nothing matches to what he's saying. If he can't take telling ignore his future posts and let him ask his mate who's been into it since he was 10 and now is 60 and all his dogs are good, let him think what he wants...sounds to me like abit of a story teller !

    When I went ferreting with a guy off here..he had a beddy whippet x gh ,something along those lines, and the other lad had a bull gh x collie gh ,and in woodland my bitch stuck with them after the bunnies, and one was 21-22tts bull x 26"tts and mine being 29"tts ..I couldn't pull them apart ..and it was pretty tricky, and her first ferreting trip..I don't think size really matters if your dog knows how to use its body , obviously someone will come along and say I'm bullshitting with not a clue..but I couldn't give a f**k because this site is getting worse by the day

    Spot on skycat..since iv had her eating raw meat, bones ,bread and eggs oh and occasionally pasta mixed in she doesn't eat as much as when she was having biscuits and tripe..iv now stopped pasta and the last week or so she piling on the weight lol she's starting to look fuller and not so ropey looking , she still eats like a horse though

    Might sound strange but.my dads staff years back had one bollock inside him..the vet told him to massage his bollocks lol I'd rather that than chopping them off..and it worked

    I fed my bitch 3 meals up Untill 15-16months ,up to 12months I added one scoop of bone powder shit..but now she's on two meals a day, and that how itl stay unless she goes out etc..get as much grub into them as possible..with a smaller dog I wouldn't feed as much as I do with her..she's a big lass lol

    I had it from grass seeds when cutting grass with my bitch..took her to vet got charged a fortune, and now my dog is wary as f**k anything going near her eyes, I got told few days later human eye drops are the same without the added cost...but never take any risks get it to a good vet if possible

    I feed my bitch twice a day..diffrent times as for when I can excersise her..consists of two meals about 6-8 hrs apart though..chicken carcusses ,chicken off cuts skin etc ,pasta, Brown bread , scrambled eggs etc.. try to alternate meals..but always has bones after every meal to keep teeth in good condition..I used to get turkey knecks to ,and tripe I used to get..but it all started getting pricey..eggs are cheap..bread is cheap ,pasta is cheap..and I get loads of chicken stuff from butchers..for feck all so I'm happy lol ,iv never got a whining hound..she's happy sleeping half the time

    Why would u slip your dog on a rabbit that you and the dog knows it doesn't have a chance? I don't get what your trying to achieve by doing this..like said before your dog will just get sick of it..knock confidence out of it, and can lead to a yappy dog..

    The only reason u need a lamp is for the dog to see equiptment etc laying around, and for yourself to see what's happening..the dogs could catch without a lamp I expect lol

    LOL to the comment above..I totally agree. But something that has stamina but not something that's boring to watch .. there's so many dog xs out there , but because dh x ain't popular no more ,doesn't meen u have to have a bull x because they are ..if its mainly big ears ,get a greyhound lol raise it as a lurcher...Il probably have grief for this..but they didn't use greyhounds in the Waterloo cup because a lurcher was better. Atb with your choice mate

    It certainly doesnt look 30" shoulder ,neither does it look 100lb in weight, my birch is 29"tts and is 71lb last time I weighed her, and looks a bigger dog than this shown...
