  1. I stand while my dogs eat (4 of them all workers) always have done always will do. If something so much as even looks like strife, nip it in the bud. Food its the ruin of harmony. Quite right, 3 doggies here, one of em my edest bitch the jumped up never come down sniveling little tic, likes to wallop the lot, and in the begining the lip used to come up, not any more, ive towd her any more of it and shes thro the door, and it works, eh, hey im not daft
  2. If you feel more comfortable using a complete, then thats fine and right by the dog, as you say, you can be sure she is getting everything she needs, but treat her to some chicken wings occasionaly, she will luve em, didnt the breeder give u a diet sheet,
  3. she looks an intelligent little thing, i know youve been waiting for your 1st lurcher, so joking apart all the best with her, scrambled eggs fer breakfast mixed i with some wholemeal bread, other folks on here will be glad to impart their knowledge with you, if you are struggling at the moment with raw, which i suggest, then by all means get a good complete puppy food, extra protein which your puppy needs, ive used red mills puppy complete in the past , hope ive helped,

  5. Tins of sardines in olive oil or tommy sauce, pasta wholemeal bread chucky eggs, mince ask ya butcher fer chicken carcasses. if you are a bit windy of feeding wings or carcasses, get stuck in wit lump hammer,

  8. Load of bilge, im a pensioner with 3 dogs, want fer nowt, and cost me nowt to feed, they are working dogs and eat their kill, and along with my butcher who gives me a sack of meet every saturday, do very well
  9. Cant fault my local branch of the pdsa, they have looked after my pet tibetan yak Ballsworthy for years, always bring a smile to their faces when i ride into the surgery eh
  10. Definately underweight, if that was my dog, a trip to the vets would be in order, summats just nor right, i carry more weight twixt my thighs good luck

  13. Perhaps if before you got rid of your dog, you could have sought advice from the ladies and gentlemen of this forum, im sure they would have sorted you out, and therefore still have your forever friend, a dog is for life in my book

  16. Doesnt matter that your puppy hasnt had contact with other dogs whilst out in the fields, have a word with your vet, he she will put you right good luck
  17. The pup shouldnt be out at all yet until its had its final injections, your vet should have told you that, its ok on your garden though

Rearing gets my vote, and entered correctly make excellent rabbiting dogs, i have a little blue whippy coming on 3 years of age,i bred myself, mother from the collooney kennels, sire a parkstone racing whippet, Texas tea, fantastic little worker, then i have a black bitch, bought from jettyboy if anyone knows them, she is exactly 1 year old today, absolute mustard in the field, both dogs work alongside each other and give me great joy, december 2010, i watched my blue bitch katie put up a longear, fantastic course, and yes she nabbed it on an uphill stretch, enjoy your dogs,
