    I agree with Martin thats not acceptable month to 6 weeks at most . I presume from what you say you have supplied the references and met the criteria and shown cause why you need a certificate. in where you intend to use your firearm should it be granted. then theres only the holding security checks that need to be made. if they require medical checks etc they have to pay for those so i am informed but all this can be done in a week by a proficient police force or less. with a variation as in your case that can be done in a day

    He already knows that i am sure he would be the first to agree with you all. The laughable part in all this if you can call it laughable is hes achieved what he set out to do , Hes got everyone all going with a vengeance whilst he sits on the other side of the keyboard punching away like fury.     Hi Stu Been a busy bank holiday weekend for me too. Had some muntjac stalking to get done and even managed to put a pricket with a broken rear lower leg in the larder. Davie's still sending abusive PM's is he. You'd have thought he'd have learnt that such actions only ends in tears. As it was part of the reason why they banned him over on SD again.     Off course your entitled to your opinion and in some respects a lot of people would agree with you., But unfortunately way things are in this country today those pieces of paper stand in between either getting a position in industry or not and its also rolled over into the leisure industry.     Bleeding heck I see we have been busy on here in the last few days on this topic .     Why do you only want to do the Food hygiene module? Surely if you did the full course you then would have the full ticket. If you only need food hygiene certificate you can do the Lantra Course held at most training est you could also do both Large and small game which is the sectional req now on pheasants shoots.     My mates a keen sea fisherman and catches quite a few unhealthy looking octopus sells them by the dozen and sometimes for 1/2 doz he gets 6squid .
