I think it's hilarious. It's clearly just some kid on a wind up. Wise to remove them though, the red mist does tend to descend on one or two of the proper members here, and we don't want them saying anything that damages our way of life in the heat of the moment.

What app is that? I listen to iPod underneath my ear defenders while mowing the lawns at work. Having to concentrate on spoken words might actually help me stay awake!

I enjoyed it. I'd go again next year. My lab x posted a competitive time in the long retrieve scurry. Still waiting to find out if it was good enough to maintain place for the whole weekend.

I've thrown away the meat around the growth but the rest is in the freezer until I find a definite answer. Everything else about the bunny was beautifully healthy be a shame to waste it.

Just skinning and jointing a rabbit when I notice a lump on it's back to one side of the spine. Inside the lump was a sack full of fluid and these white tadpole shaped things (not alive). Any ideas what this might be and more importantly is the meat ok to eat?

Hardly seen any rabbits around here these last few weeks but this morning I saw 9 (and shot one). My guess was they were all below ground giving birth and nursing young but now they are venturing back to the surface.

I'm no expert either but as I believe it dive bottles are filled with filtered air to remove moisture, dust and oils. A standard air compressor doesn't so you'd be filling your gun's bottle with gunk, shortening it's life and damaging the gun from the inside.

I think it's a shame this thread has gone of topic. It started off with a nice little write-up. As a gardener I do have views on hedgehogs but they're irrelevant to the original topic so won't be airing them here. I'm looking forward to rat-cam. I did something similar a little while ago. I borrowed a trail camera and set it up beneath my bird feeder. I got some nice little clips of the rat feeding but the time stamp said 4am and I'd be damned (now who's getting biblical!) if I'm getting up that early just to shoot a rat! In the end I got it in a Fenn trap.

This wouldn't work for me though. I only live in the next village and my Internet connection is so slow it takes 10 minutes to download a 2 minute YouTube clip!
