    who as told you this 120 yards with a 22 lr .do you want to lose your licence in west Yorkshire there is very few with fox on there ticket,and if you can it a fox at 120 yards whats it scoped in at 30 yards for a rabbit give your head a shake i think you should perhaps read my coment again carefully.i don't rate the 22 for fox at all.i don't own a .22 but use a 6mm br.i was stating if someone went out looking for close range fox i doubt they would in the moment turn down a longer shot ????? at no point do i claim to do it.once you have read it again an apology would be nice for your give

    .50 at 200 is amazing accuracy from a standard hornet in real conditions.i'm about .50 at 100 but went with redding dies and can't fine tune seat deapth.with the die bottomed out i'm 40 tho longer than factory and can't go the other way if i want to mag feed. .what fps is your pal getting ianm

    a wise move pal how much do the reloads cost compared to hmr rounds? have you ever used n130 for it or does it need faster burning powder. 12 grains of powder so comparable to a hmr round.n130 to slow n120 works.

    i found the 505 scales were damped less than the 10 10 so more accurate for lighter loads.

    the hornet fits nice for me for small vermin because my next rifle is 6mm br so a nice gap.the 17 hornet is out classed by the 223 no doubt but it out classes the hmr by a country mile.i guess the hornet is a great replacement for the hmr for guys only running a hmr or with a calibre larger than .223.the only trick the hornet has is superb exphansion ie i have center massed a rabbit and nothing exited so it dumped 3650 fps in a few inches.but the best thing it has to offer is less noies than a 223. would i get one if i had a 223? only if i wanted to preserve my 223 barrel for fox ans send ple

    How do you rate the. 17 Hornet Mike? i'm one fussy customer,i hated the savage when they first came out.the cz is a game changer ..75 moa max 5 shot factory (waiting on dies)no silly flyers, light weight, no louder,set trigger .can't say one bad thing and that extra 1000 fps smacks hard.i know you had/have anni thumbhole elliot ,i sold mine to get this and so glad i did. mike

    make sure buyer has licence and authority to purchase .17 hmr and sound mod fill in his part of the licence .then inform your plod you have sold it and mod including serial nums need any more help pm me i'll give you my number and talk you through it.

    yes if your shooting longer distance , not worth worrying about short distance.

    if mine did that it would go in the bin.a it moved when knocked and b the mechanics should move with the turrets not recoil.sorry pal your scope is scrap imo.

    got mine in feb from kinneys shooting supply came with screws etc and was fast.

    if your getting into reloading to save money forget it lol,you will become obsessed with accuracy chasing and it will cost more.if you had not mentioned wanting better accuracy then my advice would be go for it.

    allways more accurate than pacing it out and the rabbits stay better.
