  1. I have a wee trick to soften the recoil that I've been using for some time. I have a small amount of plumbing tap washers made from a dense black rubber, I take 1 and size it to sit inside the front of the piston between the top hat and polished spacer washer that seats into the piston sleeve. It works brilliantly in dampening the recoil and is such a simple trick. C
  2. I have a fac v-mach kit in mines along with a buttoned piston, tuned trigger, polished internals, ptfe washers, barrel weight, added weight to the stock, high pressure breech seal, heavy MTC Taipan scope and a fixed spring guide. It weighs 12 lbs which i find ok and is very accurate at 20fpe. It also passes the pellet turret test. Awesome rifle C
  3. If i had 800 to spend i would buy a Bushnell legend 5x15-40, NS200, scope covers, 1 piece sportsmatch scope mount and a few tins of Bisley long range gold. I tried this on my pcp and it was epic, as it is I dont have the money but still have success with a red lamp on my bushy. C
  4. Cheers folks. The Huggett is doing a great job
  5. I have used acetone and it fare cleans out the barrel
  6. Cheers moxy. I went into my local gun shop and walked out with Huggett and no money left in my wallet :-) Great little mod. Thanks for the effort moxy even though i wont need it i still owe you one [BANNED TEXT] Best regards Chris
  7. Your a star moxy, many thanks for that. I doubt it will fit mate as the S200 has a half inch unf thread end. A really nice gesture Many thanks pal Chris
  8. Hi folks. I'm looking to buy as small a moderator for my sons S200 as the Twink it came with is too bulky for the little fellow (he's 8 yrs old) To be honest the gun is a little bigger and heavier than I thought it would be as its been converted to a HW100 cylinder. Brilliant gun though just trying to make it as short and light as possible. May sell it yet and get an Ultra in .177 which is a shame as I was making single hole groups a 70 yards for sh!ts and giggles today using the superb .177 Bisley Long Range Gold pellets. By far the best pellets I've seen or used in ages. Do Air Arms ma
  9. Any amount or age please. Thanks Chris.
  10. My home worked guns are so very very precious to me lol. I love them dearly, even more than my pink teddy bear collection ;-))))
  11. So guy getting back on topic, can't wait to get my fac hw80 back together with my double delrin ringed piston and fixed spring guide and a load of other tweaks. Might get it finished this weekend, I'll be like a kid with a new toy. Hope it shoots better than before! Hope you pick up a job asap Lid! C
  12. Its a pointless exercise talking about what a risky shot is like this thread is trying to do. Its all about the moment, that second when you are going to take the shot with whatever type of gun and whatever the situation. Too much blurb for me I'm sticking to real world risk assessment on each shot I take whether its my 97kt or the Pro hunter.243. Backstop backstop backstop I must have a backstop, say this a thousand times then head out for a bit of shooting.
  13. Yawn, sorry lol. And the moral of the story is if its a risky shot it shouldn't be taken. I'm going back to sleep now
  14. Was gonna ask the calibre but I remember seeing this and I'm sure its .22, yeah?
  15. When i first applied for it years ago it was I admit all about MORE POWER!!. Its now became a fascinating challenge to have my HW80 shooting as smooth and consistent as I can possibly make it. The guns currently stripped and locked away with me working on each component to make it as good as I can get. Tha major work is on a V-glide style piston along with a v-mach service kit and a half inch unf thread on the end to take a heavy Parker hale mod to add more weight. It will end off weighing the same as a 97k. I had it running really good with piston buttons tuned trigger etc but want it
  16. Forget about fox shooting with an air rifle. If you want to shoot a fox get a centre fire on your ticket.
  17. How much do you want for the Weihrauch and Diana? Including postage
  18. P.M me with everything you need and I'll have a dig about. Probably have everything you need, I've definitely got the above stuff + tons of bits and pieces for Weihrauchs.
  19. Excellent choice mate. I have the 97 in both calibres and can't see past them. The .177 outshot my BSA Scorpion before I sold the pcp to fund another Weihrauch springer. Atb Chris.
  20. Looks sh!t al bet it shoots SH!T!!!
  21. If you want we could do a deal I have everything to make up a gun except the cylinder and end block which can be bought brand new from chambers for £120. I have a K barrel I cleaned and reblued which shoots perfectly on my , tuned Rekord trigger, a good quality stock which has no cracks just some minor cosmetic scratches, spring, piston with liner and V-mach liner, Titan spring chopped and polished for sub 12fpe, safety catch and spring, delrin top hat and spring guide, cocking lever, polished cocking shoe, new piston seal, new breach seal, new barrel shims, barrel axis bolt and all other scr
