  2. I've recently started using that stuff instead of shavings, i think its actually better, not to mention its cheaper swell, nice set up matey. ATB Si
  3. good advice already given here bud. sounds worse than it is, they'll sort them selves out, just keep an eye on them
  4. If i caught someone around my ferrets I'd be locked up now!!! its a ******* out rage!! some good folk on here, will be able to sort you out, but i know thats not the point. I sincerely hope you catch them ATB Si
  5. I'm in Lincoln, and would gladly offer you days out if you were over this way. Si
  6. just phoned BSA and they're posting a replacement out which will be with me tomorrow. (stock) apparently they have to replace the whole stock, a shame because i really liked the dark grain on this one. But what a service though!! cant fault that at all! Si
  7. thanks for all the good advice guys, i bought some daystate heavies today, and over the crono they're doing 11.2 ft.lbs which i'm much happier with. i checked the other R-10's in the shop while i was there and theres doesnt have the split that mine has. its not in the stock, and its not in the butt pad its in the bit in between the two, if that makes sense. thanks again guys
  8. Thanks for your help guys, Reaper: I'm with you completely ! accuracy over power every time, but i would have expected a little nearer the 12ft.lb mark. just one more question. between the but pad and the stock is what i'm going to call a spacer. there is a gap/split in mine, is that normal?i'm guessing not. i didnt notice it in the shop! because of the power from the R10 i thought i'd check the power in my trusty AA S410. its always been a fantastic piece of kit and i'v cherished over the last 5 years or so. and low and behold the power on that is the same as the R10. its been so
  9. Hi Guys so i splashed out on a new R10 yesterday. I've only put 30 pellets through it and decided to crono it. 762 with only a couple of feet variation with 7.9 grain accuples . Although the consistency is good its only putting out around 10.2 ft.lbs by my reckoning . (in 1.77) how has yours been? can i expect it to increase in time or is that it? thanks in advance Si
  10. not what i'm looking for but if i were I'd have no problem paying £200 for it. some people on this site are just here to stir the shite and get a rise out of ya! I paid £150 just to get a russel out of a rescue home, she had none of this breeding (that i know of) and has been a real good little bitch. £200 for something that you know where its come from is nowt! IMO Si
  11. I had a hedge hog in one once! not deep down, only an arms length, it made me jump when i put my hand on it LOL.
  12. Lol, you just need to make a noise like a piece of corn and lasso it when it comes in.
  13. I had one of these years ago and it put plenty on the table. A cracking little tool. Good choice, I'm sure he will be made up with it, Atb si
  14. I'm with bullterrier on this, DM has given plenty of stuff away for free in the past and definitely wont be doing this for the money!! ATB Si
  15. Did you really need to breed 40 something kits, to only keep 3 back?? You sound like someone who just breeds for the sake of it, Cheers fd. Did you really need to breed 40 something kits, to only keep 3 back?? You sound like someone who just breeds for the sake of it, Cheers fd. I should say he bred that many because of the ££££££'s. so much so that they are up from £15 to £20 this year.. I'm sure people will pay that for a ferret, not so sure about the working folk though.
  16. I want to get a whippet puppy at some point. At least now I know a few names to avoid when I'm ready, Good reputations take years to build, yet seconds to destroy. you are definitely someone i will be avoiding, I wouldn't have a pup of you if it were free!
