    last winter it was a bit cold so i put the terriers in beside the hounds for a bit of warmth,we had a dump of snow overnite and the next morning there was fox prints into the terriers kennel,it had even been in the sleeping bit of there kennel which is joined onto the hounds kennel and not a peep from them hounds.

    mink no matter what colour have a white chin its a good way to reconise them

    put the trap in the ditch near to the burn,if the dead chicken dont work put a bit of fish in it and keep us posted how you get on,good luck

    a farmer along the road from me has this every year and every year i trap a mink and it stops, the tree where you found some death were there any holes in the bottom,is there any burns or rivers near to you try and find where its comming from ie there will be a line of feathers in the direction where its taking them,if its a fox the heads would have been clean of,you could also pluck a dead one and look for teeth marks on the body round about the rib cage area and see how far apart they are if theres any atb wf

    liver fluke in sheep comes from slugs according to a farmer freind so i would imagine the same for rabbitts or deer

    them flying condoms are deadly,what i do with them is to cast them upstream and wind in as quick as possible until you feel the blade turning then slow it down until the blade is just turning and no more,the only thing with them i find is that different colours work on different rivers its all triall and error,good luck anyway,they will work for sea trout as long as you dont spook them,wf

    did anyone see saturdays scottish sun about the glorious twelfth by columist alex james foodie,country squire,and rock star,it goes on about people quite often being shot in the face as the birds zig zag at head hieght,it costs upwards of £12.50 to shoot each bird,and to top it all the picture that is put up is a cock pheasant not a grouse,i urge everyone to send him an email expressing what you think of his knowledge about the countryside like i have done,his email address is alex.james@thesun.co.uk let him no your veiws,atb wf
