  3. We are looking to introduce the high jump at our shows along with the simulated coursing and racing, and I was wondering if anyone can remember a dog I believe was called stag and what height he achieved.
  4. They way it was explained to me ,first of all you need a fair bit of room in your truck to carry the propane gas bottle and oxygen bottle and the mixers and the lance. Then you drive along to your target mole hills release the mixture then ignite and blow the molehills up You then proceed to charge for that visit ???? What if which is likely the mole is not in the run at the time of take off ?????????? you go back the next day re charge and blow it up again Iam thinking if someone come to my meadow field started blowing it up more than once plus driving with two waking great f cking bo
  5. It beats me how these people are allowed to sell them in this country,no way can you guarantee there is nothing underground, was given the hard sell on one of these by someone who has one, said at the time prefer traditional and tried methods,
  6. Picked this one up this morning along with twelve others from 24 traps laid,I normally aim to put two down to each mole,if you have trouble with collapsing soil try using the talpex traps they are shit hot for them kind of conditions.
  7. All my dogs are kept outside unless injured,I would only use an electronic collar as a last resort they are a good tool if used correctly, however mine will bark unless they are shut in the kennel,is yours in a kennel with run or can he come and go as he pleases???????

  11. Well finally gave the Talpex a try after reluctantly not using the duffus Thanks for the Tips Rolfe I tell you what I like about these traps in a field full of Ewes and lambs where these were set with the duffus you get a lot of tunnells colapsed due to the stock dont matter with these Have just bought another Ten from KILGERM

  14. Thought I would add my thoughts At our show in 2006 and 2007 the dog that won the racing unders and open and the simulated coursing was an under 23 inch bitch called trish owned by a fellow called Nick Deveraux from Hereford I believe she is a whippet grey cross, our simulated coursing is held on a steep bank, and our racing is up a hill which is a fair stretch I will measure it when I get time, this bitch in 2006 beat a honda 500cc racing quad by over a second. Incidentally the Simulated coursing was judged by Paul James on Horseback Mark if your dog is as good as it sounds that would b
  15. I assume its because his text talk is irritating or the fact that the story sounds like bullshit
  16. This smells a bit fishy to me
  17. have you hunted cornwall?????? Ha Ha that brought a smile to my face ,was on honeymoon in the nineties in a cottage down by lands end it was sniving with rabbits, had a chat with the land owner in my spare time two minutes,he was gagging for some rabbit control gave us the following week free I went home picked up the dogs and ferrets caught fiffty seven in three days and fuffilled by matrimonial duties
  18. Having hunted most parts of the UK I would have to say its like the age old argument about lurcher types which ones best ?????????????? Horses for courses if you are on a 5000 acre arable farm dry or stubble I would drive ,most land owners want the job done thats why your there. Alternatively on a 350 acre hill sheep farm in the Brecon Beacons makes more sense to walk.
