  1. Have to agree the best dog and allrounder I owned, was at a time when I was working continental shifts nights afternoons and Days and had a lot of time on my hands, and plenty of permission,Dog was with me at all times even in work sometimes would swear he was human. But what a dog unfortunately he left huge shoes to fill. For A dog like that it needs a massive heart courage of a lion anyways thats another thread.
  2. Just wondered everyone who had a pup of me how are the doing, they will be starting their second season now. I am chuffed with mine she is on Eighty four lamped rabbits now not been tried on anything bigger YET, For ferreting and longnetting I find her like dream, when ferreting she is so laid back she is near enough sleeping, until the rumbling starts. Weighed her today and she is bang on Sixty pounds not fully fit yet
  3. majority of country people are a credit to the countryside having met you your family and pack, and seeing what you have done with this sorry state I would class you as a credit. :clapper: :clapper: However the person who had the dog before you :realmad: :realmad: paint an entirely different picture of our way of life anti fodder Well done mate
  4. Have to agree with the photo bit like me dont think you are David Baliey ,from the recent phots you can see he is a nice specimen, pre ban of course has he ever been near a fox ? if he has how did he react ?
  5. Very intresting breeding and commments Seen this cross before with a landowner in Hereford it what mustard on the Lamp agreed not the fastest but heart of a lion and inteligent the only thing he could not do was set the video, naturally being a lab he would retrieve most things good feet too.He caught his fair share and was a pleasure to be around with ferrets and nets. Are they both workers ???? if they are that means you are halfway there, have seen show pony bred to show pony or speed machine to a farm collie that wont work sheep, that is what I call a waste of breeding. Only you know you
  6. Dont want or need a slaging match with anyone on here nobody particulary organisers or trade stalls gain nothing from it,When I spoke to you in May at our spring show I explained the fact that we were expecting a lot this Year based on last years attendance in the monsoon and the positive feedback we had recieved, anyone who knows me will hopefully verify I do not bullshit,We have spent well in excess of 7,500 on advertising this Year 2,670 with the Countrymans Weekly,I have all the copies of Invoices paid and unpaid. I wish you had seen me after the show I wanted to order Three German
  7. Anyone off here been today?if so how was it? i am hoping to go tomorrow weather permitting. how did the show go couldnt get there any pics Very disapointing, My opinion anyway, Others might think differently. Agreed, VERY disappointing. I think someone had been exaggerating the scale of the show. From a personal point, I was told there was no other stall selling dog stuff, and that I'd be right next to the dog rings, I got there and GJ of B was there, surrounded by rays of sunshine as usual and I was quite a way from the dog rings, I doubt I'd have sold less if I'd do
  8. As one of the organiser I take all opinions on board you have to if you want to improve,as I never left the field from morning right through until the racing ended at I believe seven oclock last night, anybody had the opportunity to come and discuss the show with me Bad point or good. If the show has been exagerated by others I can only appologise however weather as everyone knows plays a huge part attendance,I have lost count of the ammount of shows that cancelled last week .WE DID NOT

  13. As one of the Main organisers and Land owners I cannot stress enough this Show will go ahead,as the Land is ours we do not have to worry about the land owner,The Ground has not been touched even by sheep since the Royal welsh show were we had over 5,000 people caravan and camping on it and the weather conditions that week were exellent. The clover and grass is quite deep which will protect the soil underneath to a certain extent. Main rings and the three dog rings are up cant wait
