i'm using the same rodenticide, as i'm putting in my bait safes around this 1 farm. farmer asks can i live trap a few for him.. he has good reason ya see...... trap was 1 of these TRAPS and was in situ for 2 weeks before th first catch, no sand or soil.... just on the bare wooden floor, next to where the workers take there breaks. in a 6 week period i've taken 9 rats.

well.......... arranged a morning out with dowen and mates dogs... at a recycle yard where i frequent with the falcon at night. today was a daytime visit with eds smoker and 7 dogs. 25 adults we managed to cull, with half a dozen or so younsters that got away into cover before the dogs saw them. some cracking dogs too.... which marked well. seems as though just 1 dog had the reats from pics,, but it was all hands on,, i only got the cam out twice.....lol

this sunday, i'm smokin a few rats close to matlock, derbyshire ........ anyone want to participate with a dog or a second smoker...???? :big_boss: well i say a few..... the past 3 wkends over 25 have been shot on each visit... so theres a few to go at. now closed.

how big are your yrds.............. as previouusly stated, i was with a mate who took a hare at45 yrs with his s200.............. we both agreed it was luck.!

can you post a few pics of these holes,, and the garden area,,,, is there a stream/dyke nearbye..... this is the time where moles mate and maintain surface runs... instead of tunnels with mounds..... heres a pic of an old 1.

get yerself a few tincats, these are multi humain traps... then mr woodie can go back outside away from yer humble. be good to allow the kids to release too.

well....... i'm glad i had the cam,, 1 rat jumped and ran.. i legged, running after it, as it ran out into open grass.... the dogs ran other way though,,, so i were slinging spade, planks of wood.. and owt else near bye... and i missed it.... the 2 dogs had a few though... 8 in all... and a further 8 got away... that was our downfall.... only went with 2 dogs... both pups... buty eager to learn. Milo's first........ me in blue fleece............................... a great 2 hrs ............
