my attempts may seem wat OTT for a few of you.... but 5 nights out of the week, i'm house bound... so its either on the pc in between walkin the dog or get constructive. i enjoy a challenge, to say i only has me left arm....

oh yes.... the mk 3 will be spot on...lol the height of the fenn when shut is mm..... hardly any room, but my welsh mate says i may struggle with half catch's.... the first time get just a tail... i'll trash it and start again.

after i'd cut measured and screwed together,, i applied the fenn.. to find my fatal mistake.......................... will it still catch though...???? the troughs either side were added oppose to the ramp effect.... to apply watever surface the rats are used to walkin on. i'm up for criticism... so fire away.... always learnin. donks.

6 inch wont give you the height for a fenn....??? am i missing a plank....

the rodenticide i'm currently using is sacarat bromabait, they are definatly eating it.... the bait thats in situ now is just compound cattle feed, and yes girls,, a little too much was applied. the gap between the ramps, and entry hole s were out of my hands, so to speak... i gave my measurements along with a fenn, and back it came. (mk 1) but the challenge makes the difference.... i dont wont to wipe all the rats out,,, what would i shoot at... on average i shoot at this 1 particular farm 3 nights a week, with body counts from 4 to 15 on each visit. thanks matt.. i plan t

i has a few like that hidden away, these are for around the farms, and they has dogs. i've been using rodenticides, and i'm sure it passes through them likes a porsce.... with little effect, as i'm getting great bait takes, even green poooooooooooo.. but not finding any dead'uns. so............. i'm on the trapping campaign, to try to reduce rodenticide risks.... donks.

yep, i bought 4, not had a job in since catching 5 from the last table................ i did fit, though a baffle plate to the rear of the cage, to stop him gnawing through to the fence i sat it on.... i was also advised to place a bit of wood in the cage to allow him to chew on, rather that anything else. donks.

i'm no good with wood............ so a mate assisted. and my attempt was feeble compared to this 1. but its now in situ, and i'm observing closely. this a ramp either side of the fenn.

i use these whilst driving round i always carry a few in the car, with small envelopes, cause if you just pop these through letterbox, occasionally they get either ignored or missplaced, but if theyre in an envelope the occupier opens to be nosey. pop a few in shop windows and local pubs..... mine seem to work for me. !!!!!!!!!!

i've only got 1 arm, and how i set mine, i find a gate post or a hefty nail or such like, hook the ring over the nail... then pull towards me.... bingo. proceed with caution the first few times..... lol my first few attempts were painfull as i had no one to help get the sh*g off......lol.. soon mastered it though.
