  1. I ve used the 3-9 like the previous fella, its a crackin scope only ever found myself underscoped when sitting for foxes up in the borders 300+ yards out and i was not happy at making good kills. It proved to be tough and durable and very rarely required any zeroing in. Ive since bought a 2.5 - 15 x 56 z6i swarovski to go on my new tikka, its taken some getting used to and at one point i thought i may go back to the leup. Everyone hates change eh!!! The leup. is going to go on my sako for deer stalking. If its a minter buy it, im sure if its genuine they also come with a lifetime
  2. You can sell em to anybody who reloads but they have to fully resize back to factory specs. not difficult if you have the correct die. How many you got and how much you want for em?
  3. Mine was mint until i had to sell up, recession, it was great on fuel for the type of vehicle but aint no 60mpg mind. it was an 07 model with the 2.5in and all the bells and whistles. i used it for work, shooting, fishing, lamping off the back it was all good, took it down to london, we're from north northumberland it cruised down at 90 all the way no probs. the kids and missus liked it too. once im back on my feet im going to get another but will go for a year old as the depreciation is a b*****d. Good luck rich
  4. I agree with sportingshooter, I would suggest if you are a BASC member giving them a call to see if they can help, but as sporting says I also with permission could shoot on the land. Seems a little backward.
  5. Chris deserves a gold medal for starting this thread, and yes i would sort out rodgers missus toon or no toon!!! :tongue4: :tongue4: :tongue4: :tongue4:
  6. Here is mine guys, its been used for lamping without the back on, dragin the beaters trailer about and as the gun bus, It is thirsty but buy a fiat panda if ya want fuel econ. Its only been stuck once even with the roady tires on and the shoot is real clarty. this is the missus driving through a flood near seahouses last year about two days after i picked it up.
  7. OOOOOOHHHHHHHHH loverly.
  8. James I'm not sure exactly cause i bought the whole package rifle, mod, tripod, ammo, site, but i think it was a couple hundred quid or more. It just seemed so much more refined and better engineered than the T8 job. Like i say the only let down i found was out stalking it was apparent how bright it was, but the rubber tube has sorted that. Ive never fired my rifle with out it but compared to my mates 220 swift unmoderated its only a whisper.
  9. What is it with cows, they seem to take such good photos. The one i took was in the Journal in the north east. Well pleased with myself.
  10. Ditch if you covered one like yours in rubber it would rust and thats the difference, I dont have to remove the rubber ever cause its stainless Here it is without the rubber sleeve.
  11. Replying to my own posts, that looks better, i think.
  12. Confused trying to resize and up load. Ha looks like I may have managed it let me know if ya get it guys.
  13. I went for a stainless one a pez i think it just seemed far better in quality than the other options. It was also much thinner ie diameter so i think looks better on the rifle. Only trouble is it shines a bit so have cut down one of the little fellas bike inner tubes and sliped that over, problem solved. It does clean up very well with a little bore cleaner and autoglym on the outside if ya want to be really posh. Think geoff c is right in what hes says about general use.
  14. He is mint love the bit where the horse flattens that bird.
