i was out last night, they wernt half thumping the ground to warn others... at 1 stage i though a horse was gonna jump over me........ first time i'd experienced that before.

a place that keeps me sane................ placed in situ, a KG cage to see what occurs, trap in the unset position out in the open where many woodies seem to be every time i venture there. i'll keep the pics comin as soon as.

was out yesterday, stalking rabbits with my pea shooter falcon, on one of the farms i frequent. i managed to get within 50 yards or so to observe the antics a few young ones chasing each other, hopeing they would leg it closer. mtc mamba magged upto 50 i watched casually just 1 rabbit basking in the sun on a dry, dusty spot where he would occasionally roll in the dusty soil. shortly after a woodie landed just behind, still in view, at this point the rabbit got spooked by a kestrel which landed in front of both pigeon and rabbit, now i had all 3 still in view, yards from each other.. wow.....

ahhhh i see the bait.. just asked about what bait, in the vid post... i'm not knocking a great result. but....... would a natural floor be better that mesh...??? and from a townie... how do you remove your catch...???? do you shoot, or do you grab n flap....????? thanks.

from a townie.... what was the bait ,..????????? i frequent 1 farm htats humping with these,, the part time game keepers are just that... part time. the farmer asks me.. but i cantget close enough to make an impact....... a few of these would keep our dog fed... lol
