    Just go round again mate looking I've got a farm that I do but all the earths are all on one side of a wooded area but then I walked the whole boundary which is mainly hedgerows and found more so its best to keep looking they be there somewhere but tab tomorrow;)

    Why is it I get up at the crack of dawn drive an hour and 15 minutes go check all earths and nothing go and then go to the couple of badger setts that are about and have a sniff of an entrance and what you got fox poxy bloody foxes stop being so lazy and get your own earth

    I know my dogs not a running dog but terrier but she would not chase a rabbit that she could blaintenley see a few meters or so in front if her but then she surprised me the other day she ran a hare right across to the other end of a field until the ditch line why she done this I don't know as she must know she had know chance but she kept going until the ditch line and it must of lost sight so is it the collie or is your dog knowing what is capable for it to catch

    Have any of you got the problem of foxes not going to ground this season I've been out countless times and we have only had one fox but last season we had countless amount of foxes obviously with all the rain we've had all pipes are full of water and a lot of earths are too but even in the dry earths nothing not even a scent it must still be too warm we know there about as countless chickens have been killed but we can never find them

    Not being funny I had my very first dig yesterday we had to dig three holes due to moving about but last dig was 1.9 but we back filled every hole and tarted them up so it didn't look like it had been dug but at the end of the day it take more time to dig the hole than to back fill!!!! And as for running dogs I think your asking a bit much from them to be running full whack after there chosen quarry and look out for a unfilled earth not gonna happen and the sake of ten 15 mins of back filling and a f****d dog dogs pure laziness and obviously don't care bout anyone else's animals dogs cattle o

    Is that what will happen then with my terrier when it goes round my sister she has a terrier as well and my bitch will head straight for her and if she gets the chance she will I though it might of been a dominance thing as when they are out bushing they have no worries!

    i always pick mine up either by the scruff or tail and done it since she was young dont recommend picking up by the tail at such a young age though.. but it dont bother mine if it did she would soon let me know probably with a short sharp snap of the mouth
