the original post was a bit naive in the first place, if i had dogs which could be pulled in for investigation as to being illegal etc id never put them onto the internet where everyone can see em.

because he was trying to make the dog out to be bigger and better then what it is? or because he dint want to have to explain why he still had a 10 week old dog, when by rights if the litter was good it woulda bin gone already, or maybe because he dint want to seem like a peddlar because he hadnt vaccinated the dog? who knows there could be a million and one reasons if the dog seems happy and well just train it and enjoy it, as any dog is a reflection of its owner.

id still say am bulls are closer to am staffs then pitbulls, and yes im aware they are practically the same breed but with the key difference am staffs are show dogs whereas pits are working dogs, as far as workin am bulls goes im yet to see one with impressive drive or stamina, maybe cos all the ones i see are status symbols?

might be worth asking on a pitbull forum as they do a lot of hard walking to tone em up, so im sure theyve hit this problem.

depends on the line theirs that big a variation in the breed, could be from show stuff so would be closre to an amstaff, you can never tell on a pic anyways is my view personally.

im after some myself, asked a mate who works for a firm who fit fish tanks etc and sell pet supplies he said his suppliers dint stock it so online only im afraid. edit to add My link not tried ordering of them yet so if anybody has would be interested to know if they are any good delivery time wise etc.

once theyve been washed would the scent still be there? i think if they smelled like everything else in the house the dogs wouldnt bother? have a bash and let us know how it goes

dogs have been trained and selectivley bred to human kinds every whim and desire for centuries so what makes this any different? just because its not to your individual taste doesnt make it wrong, the dog will love it because it considers it as work with its master and thats what all dogs want to do.

Iv known more staffs be DA then any pitbulls iv heard of or seen in person and my uncle bred them for a while pre-ban. The major difference is once a pitbull has decided enough is enough you've got a battle on your hands if your not top dog in its eyes. To say they are bad with humans is just retarded, they were bred to fight other dogs where people would intervene and no person would want mauling by mistake so dogs that were good with people were selectively bred.
