  7. For me I don't get any enjoyment out of drinking in the house, and I'm not one of these who can sit in a pub on their own enjoying a quiet pint either, I just don't see the point in it. It's more of a social thing with me. I don't really like drinking in front of my kids either. That's not to slag anyone else off who does drink in front of their kids, I just don't want to encourage them into thinking that getting pissed up is a good thing. i cant drink in the house either i fall asleep after one maybe two cans or get bored and just hit the town which then means im out till daylight
  8. my grandads whippets once ragged a neighbours cat they came round kicking off and just as he was talking to them he looked over their shoulder and they had the neighbours over cat in their mouths long story short they left still with the vets bill in their hands rather upset with the world in general, and iv owned cats and one of my cats got attacked by a dog and i still stand by the reasoning that if you let your pet out to roam then thats your own risk.
  9. did you not have a contract with the firm which states what is acceptable absenteeism? if you have a contract they have to follow a set disciplinary procedure, how long did you work for the company? any less then 3 months and your outta luck, at the firm i work for you start on a six months probationary period they use it to their advantage all the time and nothign you can do because you've signed a contract agreeing. Good luck with the shite down the job centre, thankfully iv yet to be at their mercy. ATB rich

    Dog Sh*t

What's your thoughts on dropping litter, fly tipping and returning lost wallets then? dont really give a fook, and whats returning lost wallets got to do with picking up dog shit haha my mate once lost his phone while picking up dog sh*t he had it in his shirt pocket and when he bent down to scoop the poop it fell out and straight down a drain.... i had to go stand around the corner until i stopped laughing he was raging! In fact iv never seen him pick up any sh*t since

  19. maybe walk neighbours dogs in your spare time and things along them lines, if you show dedication to doing that then they might say ye, plus if you get a coupla quid for doing it then you can save up and as someone mentioned earlier prove you can afford the innoculations etc. good luck

  21. i just brought a cocker spaniel home when i was 16 and said i was looking after it for a few days once she fell in love with it i said id been offered it for good. Took a gamble and it paid off for me, but your mum does have a point i still live at home and love the fact that if i have to do a 12 hour shift at work i know the dogs will get let out and fed and kept company. At some point in a dogs life your gonna want to go away or do something and thats what you have to consider before taking one on.
