    atleast your hand was over the end mate or it may have hit someone else treat every rifle as if its loaded all the time and allways point in a safe direction you wont go wrong, its no substitute for not checking barrel empty and safety on, but is fool proof and another step towards complete safety. All i can say is you learnt the hard way and on the plus side it was an air rifle, could have been 100x worse. Hope it heals soon and Shoot safe. .atb. .ste.

    dogs can rip there nose 1001 ways as im sure you know as well as i do lol you can call birds to shoot with the breath from your lungs and any asortment of calls legally, but not with an electronic caller or speaker ect. I dont remember the legal line exactly but thats basicaly it in simple terms. Laws subject to change every 5mins without telling anyone so dont quote me on it. .atb. .ste.

    cheers mate, yea i have read them, probably the only reason i have caught any atall to be honest lol shot one last nite, another in the snares this morning so i'll just keep plugging away at them until the jobs done, leaving a few to ferret this season ofcourse .atb. .ste.

    well, i havent done any snaring for months and after a couple of blank attemps threw them in the cupboard and sulked. On thursday a guy at skittles told me his footie pitch was getting smashed, so being the nice bloke i am offerd him a hand, GET IN! With no warrens to be seen with thick foliage and only the size of two pitches, ruled out the dogs and ferrets and even lamping as im not one for hiding in a bush for hours.     shes doing great mate, all the basics apart from stay and stop bloody licking me lol, infact she so good on the recal comes flying back at sutch a pace she usualy over shoots me by 10m or so lol will start her of with the ferrets this winter and see how she does, found a great farm full of rabbits near my house with day fishing aswel so going to book a day on the lake and have a chat with him at same time, fingers crossed! Hopefully get up there with the air rifle aswel. .atb. .ste.

    my air rifle is shelved at the moment as i have nowhere to go with it, that and the pup gets all my spare time at the moment, also dont need permission to walk the dog, the rifle will allways be there when i want it. Its doing my head in not getting out with it, but it will be good when i do. When its gone you will want it again, like a fit bird after you jogged her on the morning after lol have a break but you'l be back for sure, keep hold of it, atleast show your face at your permissions there worth more than anything. Personaly i think your just having a funny 5mins lol

    I catch them in my squizzer freindly live catch cage with pink fluffy exterior and leapord print interior. . . . . . They die from embarasment when there mates see them On a serious note, I have try'd and failed to catch them on a wire, fair play to those who do it regular it sure is a fine art imo. .atb. .ste.
