    It's a piss take in all honesty. Notts are at 20 weeks currently! My mate just got his and it took six months, thank god I already have mine. The big shooting groups BASC etc need to get lobbying for a national standard. There should be no reason in my opinion that the wait should exceed 8 weeks.

    It doesn't cost a small fortune contact Colin Malloy at manchester air guns. Charged £30 for my air arms s410. Ask him how long it will be as sometimes you have to wait a little bit. Dont entertain home Blueing it's a waste of time. Liam

    Regarding the batteries I had what I believed were good silver oxide 394 batteries as they should be but when this new collar came back it didnt like them at all. I'm sticking to rayovac ones from now on. Should be about £7 posted for 10 from eBay so that will do 5 collars for a season. Regarding the receiver I have always used Duracell and never had any problems, other than when i forgot to turn it off once and went out with a flat battery :-0

    Had a great bit of service from Deben this week. Contacted them on Tuesday as one of my mark 3m collars had stopped working. The collar was about 18 months old so out of warranty. Anyway a fella called Paul asked me to return it so it went tuesday morning and thursday afternoon a package arrived. Deben had sent me a brand new collar module to replace the old broken one. Superb Deben big thumbs up!

    Don't waste your time, i messed around and spent quite a few quid one and best thing I did was split it all down and sell all the bits and buy firstly a tx200 and secondly a air arms s410.

    Happened to me pal, all 6 of mine taken. Went to the local press who run a story and took posters to all the vets and pet shops but never got them back. Good luck in finding them. Liam
