  1. mine come when i call them. squeek when you feed them then ater a while they think your going to feed them when you squeek and come running. i even squeek and give them a little treat just when ever im around so they know its not just in the cage there going to get food. untill they get used to this just let her lock onto a dead rabbit to remove her, most of the time they wont let go so you can remove them. some times they do just depends on how much she wants to avoid you lol.
  2. nice pup mate, first time i seen the green green grass for weeks! i carnt wait to get back to the wet, raining and cold days and nights rather then frozen! any chance of alittle more info? how old, dog, bitch and whats it the pup thanks.

  4. did she say how manny? if its just one run on one hare on nice ground then why not? if they havent got the stamina for a hard night it might not be whats shes talking about.
  5. if i only had the room and the work for her!
  6. that is 100% a titan MPT. i have one. the air chamber is far to small to be a realistic FAC rifle.
  7. no matey the whippet pup isnt really up for anything at the moment. he is so nervous the slightest thing frightens him. it will be along time before he is ready to come if ever. the bitch ebt (the white one) is around 10 years old, ive had her near enough 8 years and she was around 3 when i got her, she was a rescue. the dog ebt is 4 and i got him for xmas 2 years ago and he also came to get a better life. the other is around 18 month and he is american bull x irish staffy, keen as mustard! hunts up the bushes like crazy after the cats and foxes down the park, had him out for a mooch on
  8. after a hard mornings play and filling there faces with treats they get a better snooze then me!
  9. MERRY Christmas! lads and lasses. fingers crossed the frost buggers off and we can get out.
  10. this is the HUGE draw back with Co2, temperature is a major factor in power. as an experiment we put a hair dryer on our rabbit stopper we bought when they were first released. heated the bottle up and power shot up to 18ftlbs! put it in the freezer and the power drops off to barely spitting a pellet out. it is very dangerous to do this as they are not designed to take high pressure! Co2 is fine for plinking but serious shooting and taking live quarry it just isnt up to scratch.
  11. nice one mate. if theres planty of rats about i could come over with the NV and drop you in a pair of rams horns!
  12. mine arrived today. very nice collar and a good length leader with good fittings!
  13. ill try my best to get some more as soon as i can, the best ones like the last ones i sold dont come along very often.
  14. this was the last set i sold. got offered very good money for them! they were huge.
  15. this is what i have at the moment. sadly the pne at the bottom right has a hole drilled threw it. its hard to get decent horns now as the farmers chop them and drill them to thigh up the rams.
  16. i was told by a vet evening primrose oil was alot better then cod liver oil for dogs.
  17. goats milk is better then cows milk for just about every animal. specially dogs and ferrets.
  18. just pm mate mate as i dont really check threads ive posted in as i forget lol. i got a couple of sets in the yard at the mo and ill see if i can get somemore but i dont know when it will be, all depends when some decent rams come in and if i manage to get my hands on them first!
  19. if anybody wants some rams horn give me a shout. i work in the slaughterhouse and can get a few now and again. actually got a few weathering in the yard at the moment as my dad used to make stick but has now changed hobbies.
  20. thought i might aswell give it a shot. looking to get out for a day or night. anybody wants abit of company one time give me a shout. im in darlington shooting (air rifle), ferreting (all my own gear if needed), lurcher (really need more work for him), lamping (got one i can bring), night vision (got in on my rifle and also for spotting), just about anything to get me out the house! reliable, willing to get stuck in. got my own car. would be nice to get out with another genuine person. cheers.

  22. it is a shame mate your right. its not worth selling them for me. i only bother if we get more then i can eat, feed the dogs and ferrets and give to friends. mine have to be head shots or ferreted, gutted with no marks on them or they dont want them. for a £1! anybody know a place in the northeast willing to pay £2.20 or more? makes it worth a little travelling if you get a decent amount. i could probably manage between 30 to 50 on a decent weekends hunt.
  23. just had a look at these. there abit loud for my taste.
  24. i dont expect my dog to be a true master at everything just be able to do enough to keep me happy. im not an expert hunter and dont do enough to consider myself anywhere near a master so how would my dog ever be. my reply was just to say what i would consider an all rounder to be for me personally.
