  1. Haha, think it was pretty much like that... either last of a line or family not interested in the place, hasnt been a family in that house for a long time... Maybe elderly siblings living in poverty... Shame really. The barn could be turned into an apartment for teenagers or even a indoor swimming pool... My husbands nephew (well hes 2yrs younger than me ) is an architect amd would love a house like this as a project
  2. The dressers are all built in and too tall for most places, about 7/8ft tall approx
  3. Someone lived there up until recently, the floors in 2/3 rooms downstairs have gone but apart from that this place is structurally sound, no damp yet and no woodworm... Id move in tomorrow lol

  5. Its a couple of miles from a friends house so as we were driving past one day we begged a farmer to let us in the gate for a look at the house (he rents the grass around the house for his cattle, its up for sale 500k with about 50hectares and a stable block as well as the barn

It took me quite a while to figure out where i wanted to be in this hunting game of ours, i started out ferreting with a greyhound that hated ferrets, started taking the odd fox with a bull x with dubious recall, tryed my hand at terriers And eventually came to the conclusion i was happiest back where i started with 1dog and 1 ferret taking everything and anything as we mooched across the countryside lol, i wouldnt call it a thirst but a need... I am a smallholder/prepper at heart and hunting is a part of this need to be partially off the grid... And unlike the rest of you oldies im still in

  17. Ouch, my lad gave himself a nasty skin tear on his hind leg the other day, luckily not bad enough to need a vet though!
