More practical interesting stuff, cheap if possible
  8. Fantastic inc's Also holds 12 quail, or small bantam eggs. You need to buy the tray for quail/bantam eggs though, should be cheap enough though
  9. In the area im living every, tom, dick, harry and their mother has a plant or 2
  10. All very well securing your house, but how would you survive long term? Food, water etc: we'd be like the prey we hunted, constantly alert and looking for danger everywhere we went: I don't think that most modern civilised societies would stand the strain of living like that. People aren't used to being as wary as a fox wherever they go. The 'living' population would be down to about 1% in very little time at all, and I think that any group that did survive would have to remain fairly small or its needs would overwhelm the numbers of people very quickly. I love post-apocalyptic fiction:
  11. Waste a cartridge? lol My head tells me its never gonna happen, yet im still hiding behind a pick handle every monday night
  12. I could have my house secured in less than 2hrs I recon just by taking dog run apart and putting the panels bolted to the wall covering doors/windows, got a bit of veg growing in garden, lurchers and snares for hunting, put a few traps down for zombies using a goat in a pen as bait and I could borrow a shotgun in double quick time as well as a jcb for digging pitts to trap zombies, think even after secureing the house itself id be sleeping in the loft at night
  13. Admit it you bought 2 cause ye keep loosing em

  18. Lamp+batterys pups sound like they are a safe bet going by whats been said on here and on the other thread, good luck with whatever pup you get
  19. No one is advocating the mis-use of steroids........ just the opposite. Vetinary prescribed steroids are perfectly legal, and I'd bet most of us have given their dogs steroids as an anti inflammatory. Cheers. I believe steroids are the reason one of my mutts is alive after she was hit by a car, however I also believe anyone who uses it on there dogs to win races or for coursing or any other competition needs their head checking
  20. Healthy strong confident pup with good feet and good breeding, the rest is down to luck and good rearing
  21. Ok with a manual incubator you have to turn the eggs yourself several times a day, the semi auto is the same as a manual except the tray moves manually turning all the eggs at once saving a bit of time but not much A fully auto has a motor attatched and turns the eggs for you. For the last 3days of hatching you should turn off the motor/stop turning the eggs When the chicks hatch/once all the chicks have hatched you remove them from the inci and keep them in a brooder
  22. Baskerville muzzle will be fine for that then, as it allows them to pant and drink water
  23. brinsea or octagon Do you want a manual/semi auto or fully auto?
  24. What type of muzzle you after? The plastic baskerville muzzle comes in all different sizes from chihuahua to great dane size
