  1. My half cross is mad for big tabbed rabbits. Lives for them.
  2. Think a few keep em but not that popular.
  3. Dam was Beagle/Cocker Sire was Bassett Griffon Vendeen Sam
  4. Catching some early morning rays..
  5. That'd be brilliant mate if you could send me his email, much appreciated. Didn't realise I was that close to him. Donny is only 20 mins from me. Thanks, Sam.
  6. Just wondering if anyone that knows what they're doing with rapids can 'tune' mine for me. It's a mk2, absolutely unmolested it's like new and has never been tampered with but is shooting off. I don't know if it's the pellet choice or what. I've heard KevG is the man at sorting them out and getting them where they need to be but I wouldn't know how to get in touch with him. Anyone know what they're doing? I'm in South Yorks but can travel. Cheers, Sam.
  7. Get an old smart phone and connect it to ya wifi then plug it in near the birds and just click on a 12 hour goldfinch song on youtube and it'll play all day.
  8. Been looking for a goldie mule cock just as a pet to enjoy listening to it sing and yesterday I went and picked "Him" up. The lad I bought it off sempt genuine and I asked if it was a cock and he said 100%. He had a cock for sale for 50 quid and a hen for 15. He said they were last years birds. I asked if it sang and he said yes. He grabbed both the birds out the aviary, spun them upside down and blew the feathers and vaguely showed me how to sex them. Wether it was accurate or not I don't know he might have been pulling my leg for all I know. Before I left he said to be
  9. I get they're robbing ba*tards for doing it and in general anyway. I don't take my dogs to a vet unless they're desperate cos it's just an industry but there's nothing wrong with this dock and a vet did it.. Sam
  10. I understand what you're saying but I was trying to give advice as to not get prosecuted. I spoke in a regard to help others and gave them insight into my circumstances about the legality of docking here. Never once did I say anything negative. Trying to help mate, something that's apparently rare on here. Sam
  11. It's not "my" vet. It was registered near to where I got the pup from matey. Sam
  12. I've literally just taken a docked terrier pup to the vets 3 month ago for innoculation and they asked for the papers for the dock. Sam.
  13. Perfect advice from everyone off here if you want to get prosecuted when you take your terrier to the vets later in life and they want proof with documents. I'd never own an undocked terrier but docking yourself is illegal unless qualified and only done through a vet practice under obvious particular circumstance. Need to be careful mate. Sam.
  14. Young patt bitch. Almost 4 month, she's very small for her age and nice and lightly built, I don't like the bull headed types. Looking forward to getting her going this winter, she's only for bushing with my hound crosses not for digging. She'll be handy for the nooks and crannies that they can't get into. ? Sam
  15. All mine are in the kennels at night or If I'm out but I let them in the kitchen in the day if I'm in. I'd never let them past the kitchen door though. I don't want my living room/house covered in hair and stinking of dogs. I've never house trained any of them, no need to cos they piss in a kennel. Pups soon figure out not to mess in the kitchen as they get older. Sam.
  16. Yes I saw em today mate. Not a bad walk round for an hour. Sam
  17. I'll have a black and white hound with me and a black and tan one. Sam
  18. I've been before it's a decent walk round. Gunna go on the saturday I reckon, take the dogs for a wander. Sam
  19. Yeah I'd do em myself if I could get hold of them.
  20. I picked a terrier pup up 3 days ago. Took it to the vets for its first jab, when I got to the till she said £99 please. I nearly spat my fu*kin teeth out. That's with the other one included like but its disgusting. Other than the jabs my dogs have got to have their legs hangin off to take em to the vets. Don't get me wrong, it's good to have them there if needed but I've got to be desperate. It's an industry at the end of the day not the NHS and they'll rob anyone blind and fill their heads with crap.
  21. Nowt wrong with the pets for homes approach. Most people these days don't want workin dogs it's as simple as that. Breed a litter of workers when you want one, keep what you want and give em away/and or flog em cheap to lads that wanna work em then put surplus pups on a website for a grand a piece. You'd be a numpty not to these days with the money they're fetching. Can't see the taboo.
