    I was lucky enough to work and fish with him - I fondly remember those forays around Seafod! Well Envious bud :icon_redface: I would have loved to have met J.D.     I can shoot out to 50 yrds with the .25 Cal using 19.91 gr H& N FTT on Falcon Menace Day Scope 4 mildots down, No Bud i can put the Pulsar on all 3 of My Guns the Two Rapids are fitted with weaver Rails so i just swap in Seconds without having to re-zero and i've ordered a dove tail to weaver mount to do exactly the same with the HW 77 K springer, As all My mounts are weaver based so can pick and choose which Gun to mount the N550. Plus i've written down all the x = and y = which is the up and down or left and right of a normal scope in mildots for all cals so a quick click on the scro

    Between 7- 8 hrs Continuous, depending how cold it is , When using the 4 x aa battery's i was only getting between 1- 2 hrs Max atvb Daz 7

    I've shot with it in Daylight okay but it doesn't like Bright sunlight just like Day scopes without the Sun shades, Easily clear past 60 metres and further, Though i only shoot mine out to 55 yards has i'm happy shooting on the standard 4.5 x mag setting as that's all You need, But You can get an additional booster lens to put it up to 7.5 x mag, But for Airgun ranges abit overkill. i'm happy with the two ir illuminators i've got one for total sneaky beaky shooting as there's no tell tale Red glow unlike the NS50 or NS200.     Nice idea Bud On My set Up, Even though it's not an NS50 i use a Head torch with various L.e.d's ~ Wide, Flood, and Pinpoint, it also has a Red L.e.d, Not to spook your Vermin Quarry. My Set Up ~ Rapid TTR 1 in .25 Cal and Pulsar N550 with 940 nm ir Torch. atvb Daz 7.

    I stopped buying Airgun Mag's After J.D. Stopped writing for them, Remember Richard North and Fred Carter, But J.D. Was the one i looked for and learnt alot from Him and My Grandad Who was a Country Boy and Worked for the Forestry Commission after the 2nd world War. J.D was also one of the Best Bass Fishermen as well and wrote alot about fishing. atvb Daz 7.

    Hi, I have the NS50 and was thinking of buying the N550, why do you like N550 better, might help me make my mind up. Thanks More natural just like a Scope, And for airgun Ranges up to 55 yards the standard 4.5 x Mag is just right though you can get attachment to increase mag to 7.5 xmag. Plus i can parallax right down to 5 yards no problems so ideal for rats, Also the 940 nm Pulsar flashlight i got with it does not give out that tell tall Red dim light as it's in the higher ir spectrum.     Prefer ScopeCam like Davy to the NS50 as it's Cheaper and You can record with it without a DVR attached, But now have a Pulsar N550 which suits Me better. atvb Daz 7

    Well done Skot bud on Blooding the 97. I'm the same not Blooded the HW 77 K Yet, in fact it still needs zeroing in Yet also the MK 2 Rapid needs zeroing has it's got a New Falcon Menace Scope atop it, But because of work not fired any of My guns in 3 weeks . atvb Daz 7.

    Good Shooting Si Just treated My self to a New Catapult about 2 weeks ago But well out of Practice haven't shot one since i was a Kid, We Use to Rat around the Farms and My ammo of choice was smooth pebbles or Marbles, Absolutely deadly up to 25 yards Here's a Pic of the New Sling shot but need to practice has i've all ready smacked the back of My Hand allready atvb Daz 7.

    I had one but was a Righty, But was put off with the Standard of workmanship when Darryl " Marksman" stripped and tuned it Air arms must have had Canteen staff putting it together on a Friday afternoon Was going to get a Custom left hand stock made but thought Sod it and got rid and now have the New style Ambidextrous HW77 K in .22 Cal, And it may not be as pretty as the Prosport but it feels More solidly built and a nice weight With the Sturdy Falcon Menace FFP 4 - 14 x 44 EMD Recticle Scope So it is Definately NOT a combo for the Noodle Arms Lads . atvb Daz 7.

    As Buster say's, Nutshot Custom Carbon Mod and i'm lucky to have one on the Rapid MK 2 And the New Long series one on the Other Rapid ain't Bad either for a Factory standard one, it's just a little better than the HW. atvb Daz 7.
