    Been there, done that. For a lower cost pcp, the latest Webley Raider 10XS is certainly a great bit of kit, but for the independence, simplicity and durability a quality spring rifle (such as the Air Arms and HW's mentioned) offers, the Raider and other PCP's fall way short in my experience. Unfortunately for PCP, springers have had a sizeable head start, and very much doubt we will hear of PCP's being handed down father (even grand father!) to son and still doing the job like we so often hear regarding HW's and proper old British BSA's and Webleys. That fact alone speaks volumes to me

    Would like to thank Pete "Bass" aka Bunnytickler on Here once again for My Day out Shooting, A Superb Mate and a Gracious Host, Always sets the Shots up so You have first Dibs. Brought the TTR 1 in .25 Cal and the Essential Laser range finder for the sub 12 ft/lbs Rapid. Managed to nail 3 Jackdaws at top of a tree at 40 yrds distance a good start.Dried up abit with the jackdaws. so We went on a Wander around the woods,Managed a Magpie at 30 yards and Pete nailed a Crow. Weather was against Us has the Wind started to pick up and temperature started to drop So We headed back to the Fa

    Not been to the Range Yet to zero it Skot bud :icon_redface: and that's why i've not been shooting it yet, But neither have i been shooting the Rapid or Shotgun either in 5 weeks not pulled the Trigger and Killed Owt

    Not Fired any of My Rifles in 5 weeks Due to work and the Christmas Festivity's So just popped Home from work on My Dinner Break and spotted this Bugger perched atop of the Large Canadian Spruce in My Garden, So thought only rightly that a Magpie should be My first Kill of the Year . Hopefully out shooting this weekend but weather forecast is 6 inches of snow tomorrow around My way. atvb Daz 7.

    think i'd settle for any handy at the mo, not getting much..lolol. i like the look of them rapids though. Is that a diy cheek riser? if i remember rightly, the ambi stocks just need a bit shaving off the cheek peace..i cant rember tbh, used to be up on it. No Mate, Standard cheek riser and adjustable stock were standard fittings on the Rapid TTR 1. atvb Daz 7.

    These are Mine as i'm a Gifted Lefty, Top one is the Ambi Rapid TTR 1, Middle is Full Left Hooker Rapid MK 2, Bottom is The New Type Ambi HW 77 Springer stock. atvb Daz 7.

    Yep it has but the N550 works fine on My Springer

    Unless You can get hold of a Second Pulsar N550 Rob, Then No worries has they can take the Punishment of Centre Fire Rifles easily, Works a Treat on My Un-tuned HW 77k .22 atvb Daz 7.

    Addiction Problem You've Got Darryl bud I don't know where You've got the Time to shoot all them Guns !!!!!!! :icon_redface: I've not shot any of My 3 Air Rifles in 4 Weeks , But i'm out next Saturday Crow and Jackdaw Blasting with the Benelli M2 Semi Auto 12 gauge :) atvb Daz 7.
