    is that a melanistic squirrel or a true type bud ? smart anyway Thats actually a grey squirrel. Black phase. While the blacks are considered the mutation. We have more blacks than greys where I live. Farther north, black phase squirrels become more rare. They do taste the same though.lol ATB quite unusual for the mutation to become dominant, cheers bud
