I try and learn something new about dogs or hunting every day: it gets harder the longer I go on! But there's always something that my dogs can teach me so long as I keep my mind open and my wits about me.

Can there be anything better than seeing a young dog find its first bit of game? The look on its face when it catches, the delight and pleasure: that makes all the months of training and rearing worth while.
