I know of one skipper who wouldn't dump the fish, he gave it away for free, he still got court, fined. He's boat couldn't fish. The people making these laws never worked a boat in their lives. They said the cod stock were in danger in the Irish sea. The amount of cod dumped is criminal. The Irish government sold a large chunk of our quota. Atb j

The amount of prime fish dumped is shameful. Their dead, not going to do anything or anyone any good. If not allowed to sell them, give it away to hospital, homeless shelters schools. Doesn't make sense Atb j

Not only that, the jury was under ploice protection in because of intimidation. That says it all really. They don't care do they, many lives ruined and they just laugh. The judges have no concept of what it's like in the real world sometime Atb j

Then we have this to deal with as well. Things like this are are killing the legit inshore Fisher man. People like these have no reguard for the fishing grounds, no wonder there hardly any lobsters left in the ground.

They knew he was there, they swerved the car to try and shake him off. They could of stopped, cut him loose then taken off. His poor wife, not only loosening her young husband, but how it happened and to listen to these animals laugh and joke about it in court. Atb j

It's the same over here. I live beside once one of the busiest fish ports in Ireland, now nearly dead, with restrictions, by catch laws, prices, quotas and prices it's hard going. Atb j

True, it would be ideal in an ideal world. Just have to look at the system as it is at the moment. Scary. Also looking at how some countries are handling the covid crisis and every thing else, dosent fill me with great hope. On saying that. Forget the death penalty. Really couldn't work fairly. But the laws should tighten up. And life should mean life for murder, rape and pedos. Also castle doctrine should be allowed. Atb j

What was crime rate over there, bet it was low ?? Yes bring back the death penalty for crimes like murder, rape, pedos and drug dealing, not cannabis through. I know alcohol does more damage to families and society than weed. For theft and other crimes, chain gangs, and the three strike system, third time, life. Also no death row for years, costing the country 1000s just to house and feed them. Once found guilty, they have a week to sort out their affairs and say good buy.
