100% it's grand to have a nice looking dog but if it doesn't work to a high standard for me there no good. I just like the bone and good heads the bull puts into them.
-
In theory there should still be a quarter But Ive been told on here that bull blooded patterdales line bred for generations now have no bull blood in them, I just wondered where it disappears to, just to be clear this isnt aimed at you Shane Some lads don't like admitting there's bull in there dog for some reason it can be a touchy subject with lads. In reality 99% of patterdales have bull in there make up.

No never.

I'm not denying there's bull in them what I originally ment was no pure bull has been added.

There all been bred from the one family of dogs no out cross. But the original stuff had bull in them so in theory these pups have the same amount of bull in them as the ancestors 30years back. No outcross has been put in or straight bull that's what I ment foxdropper

No bull added for 20 or 30 years fox dropperIn that case mate ,fair play you are breeding something special in looks anyway . I'm only in this line a few years so u can't take the credit. Just kept bred tight.

i was at one a few weeks back and there was a fella standing at a stall wearing reat tree trousers t shirt and coat and just as i said to myself he couldnt get anymorr on him the cnut bought a real tree hat,i asked him was he off out hunting he just gave me a dirty look. And not a rip or a tare on them. Sure sign of a lad that doesn't work there dogs. I cringe everytime I'm at a show and see lads going round like that

Bert Gripton Terrier 01.jpg What is the breeding behind this dog, interested in hearing what people think. Terrier 2017.jpg P3d I reckon he's about a quarter bull at best buto from a line that's been kept tight for years lol Spot on, any papers with him LOL Fine looking dog, I had a half cross SBT years ago that had a head like that, he was a great terrier.
