Yes off course. I was at a conference where Meggitt, a company who specialise in building ranges for the military, gave a presentation on hardox, and other metals used in shoot houses. The suprising thing with the 5.56 rounds, was that the old military ball rounds, caused more damage to the hardox, than the current SS109 with steel penetrator. Similarly and suprisingly, the 5.56 caused more damage than the 7.62.
