Woke up this morning and was sent a link for the Sunday Times... our cottage made it into the top 40 "cool cottages for Spring".. We are number 6, Avalon... Was chuffed for the Mrs as she sold her business to invest in this, so pleased that there is a little recognition, its always good I reckon... I'm talking purely boxing mate... showmanship has always been part and parcel of it...I just don't think he ranks with who I consider greats...but that's opinions for you, they're like assholes,we've all got one lol

For me Fury won't be a great mate, I'm just not a big fan of his style, his few fights with Wilder were good entertainment and he showed loads of heart, but they were so messy...tripping over each other, feet tangling all the time, wrestling non stop... his fight with Klitcho was a bore fest...but fair play the man finds ways to win, has a big heart... hes probably the best of this bunch, definitely a good fighter but I dont put him in my favourite top ten.... there's probably another 3 or 4 fights that are worth making for him but I'm not carried away by all the hype...

I can't remember the lads name, Spaniards I think? Gave him a lot of trouble a few fights back... hope he comes on well, but like you say he's got a lot to live up, the surname is probably a curse, like Benn and Eubank! Lol

I've not heard many not rate Usyks ability, not on here but lads talking boxing in the real world... and the general consensus is he is an excellent boxer, good feet, quick hands, finds awkward angles that pretty much no other heavy can....but in the day if the monsters he will be found out...but you don't seem to rate him at all mate.. .. which is strange cause I think you know your boxing a bit ....

So a left wing organisation "sacks" an employer for making left wing statements? I thought the BBC would be all over this, and giving Linekar and pay rise... I dont agree with his views at all, but its a shit trick if you lose your job over your views... more proof there is no freedom of speech, only difference its on the left side of the centre

Dad round last night, done us a curry... Used a whole chicken and jointed, cheaper than just breasts and adds flavour having the meat on the bone imo.. Marinaded the lot in my tandoori mix t and fried the chicken off... own paste etc.. came out well...I like making curry and love eating it..

Agreed the heavyweight scene has become a circus mate, I'd still like to see the top 3 or 4 fight each other though... I dont know why I get drawn into the bullshit though, Friday night and I was bored lol

Anyhow, spent an.hour or so earlier on you tube watching Carl Froch fights...he was in some great fights, I'd forgoten how he destroyed Bute when the world thought Bute was unbeatable... He certainly didn't dodge anyone!

Maybe so, but Usyk holds the belts, so make the fight and then Fight Joyce... I think Usyk will give him a million more problems than Chisora... Hes got to make these fights now, he is in the driving seat, fighting Chisora last time out took the piss, he can't pull a stunt like that again imo

The stupid thing here is, we all just want to see the fights, I want Fury to beat Usyk... hes English so thats good enough reason for me... couldn't care who wins out of Fury/Joshua... holds less interest than a few years ago, but still want to see it... would like see Joyce v Fury, tough as f**k and would like to see how Fury handles such a relentless fighter... but I dont want to see Fury v Wilder 4..and I didn't give a f**k about Fury V Chisora 3... its a joke ..

Get real mate, I like Del Boy but he has been beat by every top heavy hes fought.. why the f**k does Fury need to fight him 3 times? I know you can see no wrong in Fury, but he seems reluctant to make the top fights at the right times...maybe they are all.guilty of it, but if he fights Wilder again, you'd have to agree its a piss take surely?

The thing is he has every chance of beating all of them, id never say anything different... I still think early Joshua would've have given him problems at the time as he was throwing his hands and at that time Fury was going backwards and round in circles and barely throwing a proper punch... furys changed his style and looks loads better for it... Joshua had and looks loads worse... so you'd favour Fury.. Furys sheer size should be enough for Usyk, but it don't work like that and I think usyk is by far the better boxer, I think fury knows it'll be different to anyone he's faced...wilder

3 times Chisora, 3 times Wider (looking like 4!)... f***ing shite! He said he'd fight Joe Joyce if Usyk wouldn't fight...but will side step for Wilder 4 no doubt... Usyk is holding 3 of the belts, Fury 1... fury is no doubt the bigger draw for media driven fight fans, not so much boxing fans imo... but he plays the mass crowd abd makes ridiculous demands.. Just make the few fights that's left ffs...Usyk first then do the the fight with Joshua as it would be a huge fight in the UK (regardless of whether Joshua is gone or not)... fight Joyce, because he deserves a shot... but Wild

There's no such thing as "free" energy...it just dont work that way... you'd have to drag a bank of solar panels around with you.
