My lad with a couple of fish, he's 4 drives and me mad, doesn't stop talking, touches everything, fires stones with my catapult at anything, goes to close to the edge on the rocks or climbs the tree by the pond. but he loves coming fishing with me and i love taking him.

yeah usually drawing the worst peg in the worst section freezing your nuts off all day for f*ck all. I did used to enjoy match fishing, i aint fished one for a while but might fish a couple on the tidal exe before the real cold sets in. wouldn't fish a match on a commercial though not my thing ( i've fished since i was 6, 27 years, and never used a method feeder), take my lad to a local pond for some carp bashing occasionally though.

I agree. With Chub as the target. nice time of the year for it now too, the rivers round here are looking in good nick had a bit of rain so they're just right for running a stick through. Chub are probably my favourite too but like catching big autumn/winter roach as well.

stick float with caster or maggot on the river pole and pellet on the commercials and cast as far as poss and cross your fingers in the sea (unless your bassing then cast as short as poss and cross your fingers)

I wear a fladden 2 piece floatation suit for sea fishing (boat and shore) it's mega warm with the bonus of being able to take the jacket off if you get too hot. Been 30 mile out in the english channell wrecking in feb and been warm as toast, a decent hat, socks and boots are mega important, once your head and feet are cold your f**ked.

Mackeral feathers, maybe baited with mackeral strips, or sand eels are good as well. Quite a few places sell them around the coast. Cheers, D. Fishing straight out from the end or to the right along the wall we used to find best, although my brother caught a nice flounder straight down the wall on the harbour side ( he's a flukey git mind ). Spent many happy holidays fishing off the peir at mevagissey as a kid. If you can't get out on a boat there's some decent rock marks down that way should be good for pollack and wrasse. Good time of year for bass to , Pentewan sands is near mevagissey can be good for bass, good holiday park right on the beach loads To do for the kids and missus whilst you sneak off bassing.

I've got a 12 week old 3/4 whip 1/4 beddy she's been great so far settled relly well, seems really bright she's into everything. I'm gonna start her ferretting and day time mooching wih my jack russell later on get her out with the lamp really excited about it hope she keeps proggresing like she has so far.

oooh id shoot the EX! Its crossed my mind so many times! Best of it is she lives on a farm now,might have a look over there a few times this winter with the dog! I'd say in the long run once you eduacte your daughter properly (instead of being fed bullsh#t) your ex will be made to look the prick, and you and your girl will be able to get out and enjoy it. good luck mate.
