    Hi mate,I caught red snapper on plugs in the caribean, the locals said you use hard back crabs for the parrot fish but they're not easy to catch, I would think fish baits, lures etc would be the best way to go.. Good luck Edited to say I wish I didn't jump in with this post before I read the thread, you seem like your on a wind up mate, if not you won't take any advice and are dead set in making fcking dough balls, god knows why, the only thing I'd use bread on in the sea is Mullet.... If your not on a wind up, try some of the things suggested and you never know you might catch a fish inste

    I was fishing the rocks below the Minnack Theatre once and had a basking shark swimming right infring of me awesome sight, That is a cracking beach there, porth curnow it's called, very deep shelf though beware with kids.. If your more of a take it easy type angler the pier at Penzance is easy fishing for mackerel, gars etc also the pier in Mevagissey ( used to love that place) I would take Robbo up on his offer mate, he knows his stuff around the north coast marks and there's a chance he'll put you on bass, My favourite beaches though are in the north coast, watergate, Harlyn bay,

    No all finished Arch, the Carbo Tech range followed ( and they're all finished too), they were top quality, I was having the yap with Kev ( Geoff's son) in the shop the other week about them, Hardy wanted to buy into them but the rod builder they were tied into wouldn't buy into it, Hardy went on to make some decent rods and Carbo Tech went bust.
