So did i. But spent more time with the telemetry looking for it than I did watching it in action. Falcons are the flight birds were hawks will give you sport all day. I got my falcon to clear the corvids on my permission, as soon as the car pulled up they were gone, once they new the falcon comes out of it. Like i said, i just prefer hawks. You may like the falcons more. Good luck

Gyrxsaker i went this route but its not me. Much prefer my hawks. Go out with falcons first, if you already havnt.

Crab is too expensive to buy. Crab traps are s must now.

That's not a bass its a whale lol. Cracking fish. I went last night with my cousin and not only caught my first bass, I had 5 all over 3lb and my cousin caught 11. Looks like its gonna be a good summer. what bait did you use matey Peeler crab mate. At Llandulas north wales just as it was going dark on low water and rsising tide.

I would like that, sound's a good idea but i imagine it must be hard, or are they not that far out, i think flies would be lure pattern's is that right. Yes billy i use sand eel and crab flys...most sea angling shops sell them....also if your in rocky ground you dont need to cast far....my biggest on fly was 9lb 6oz 9lb 6 nice fish. I would just like to catch my first. Would be great to get a nice size one.

I'm going bass fishing for the first time Wednesday night with my cousin. He does competitions and welsh champion. Won in Italy last year. So hopefully will get my first bass. Taking me to his best mark. He has collect the peeler crabs from his traps ready.

I have a young redtail chick if your interested. I will be DNA sexing it soon. Would want a chat before hand, no disrespect, but has to go to good home. Experienced person or has support from experienced falconer. The female hunts at 3lb and lamps, the male hunts at 2lb 6oz only hunted him in the day. Pm me if your interested.

how many of you ferreting lads use muzzles ? never seen one to be honest Have used them when I was young, but never again. No need and although all mine come out fine they could get caught on a tree root etc

Cheers, thanks for the advice. I have fields right across the road from my house so can easily do the two short runs and then build up as he gets older. I have had dogs for years, just not had running dogs for years and don't want to mess him up. I want to take things easy to get the best out of him. I had col x greyhounds in the past.

That's what I am planning to do. Let him follow the Springer. Also got a jack x that will not leave my side because it is the kids house dog & pet. So thinking the whippet will stay with them.

Mine has had his jabs and although well on with basic training sit, come when called walking on lead etc. Just worried incase he decides to run off. The fields are quite well enclosed. Was thinking of letting him stay on the lead for first couple of times n watch the other two dogs come back and walk to heal when told.

How old was your whippet pup before you let it run free in the fields? (No rabbits etc in field, just exercise).

I have a CZ527 .223 and can't fault it. Only pushed it out to around 200yds at present, but very accurate rifle

You just reminded me of when I worked on a farm and went to pull an electric fence up. I bent down and lost balance & grabbed hold of the fence and battery box lol what a kick it give funiest thing i have seen, my good friend was going under an electric fence, when he got zapped in the head,,, you should have seen the spark. Lol

Made my own lamps but used motor bike batteries. WTF would you want to carry a car battery for lol

I want a lithium battery. Also looking into LED lamps. Cluelite do some but not surechow good they are.
