      Tried it out today. Zeroed it in, was shooting a bit high. Groups fine and the mod does bring the noise down to about the same as the .17. Keep in touch. Steve

    With all respect. I have not missed the point at all. My dog finds game in the deepest of cover. But will not go in if there is nothing in there. An example of his good nose is - last season on the shoot one of the guys shot a hen pheasant that went down in deep cover. Three cockers went in and not one found it. I walked up with my dog (as that part of the shoot was completed) and sent him in. I was told not to bother as the other dogs could not find it. He found it in no time at all. He would not have gone in if there was nothing in there and I would not expect him to.

    My dog will not go in if there is nothing in there. But if there is he will find it. I trust his nose 100%. Let the dog enjoy the hunt as long as it follows comand

    I would not worry, don't expect her to work the hedge if there is nothing in there. She will go in if there is. Also i find it helps to work them with an experienced dog. Make it fun for her, she will give you more back and work harder. ATB Steve P.S there is no such thing as a bad dog

    I use this caller and its one of the best I have used in while, they come in like trains to it, good luck wit it pal. Yea we use one. Well did. I lost my mates and bought this to replace it. They are very good, the magpie works very well to.
