  1. Cheers. I think I'm going to get one. All the others seem to be designated to one rifle
  2. Thanks, would be interested how you get on. What's the build like? Is it easy to set up? Steve
  3. Right lads I know there has been a couple of threads on this but I would like advice from people that own them on is it worth my hard earned cash? Please NO people with a commercial interest!!!!! Just guys that own and use them. I would like to make my own but really don't have the time. Thanks Steve
  4. Nobody on here can tell you without seeing the bird. I would not take him any lower. Not with this cold on its way. It's not all about dropping weight for responce. It will not respond as well if its too low. My diary tells me that from when I first had my red LOL
  5. How old is your whippet? Mine is 10months and I'm itching to get him going on the lamp.
  6. No prob mate good luck with finding one ATB Steve
  7. I have an albino hob you can have free if you come anywhere near wrexham. Not too big and from this years
  8. True. If i had spare cash i would snap his hand off. But as you say its that time of year and other things needed. Good luck with sale. Very nice pups.
  9. Always try to hunt mine coming down. Bring her weight up on a kill (good feed) then bring her back down for the next outing.
  10. Don't forget she will put muscle weight on as she gets fit and more responsive as she is manned. Keep a diary that will tell you her best weights. Record what you fed her, weights, exercise she has had, weather (temperature) and how responsive she is that day and any quarry caught or chased etc. I did not get the best out of mine until I actually read my diary lol.
  11. As it has been said many times before - could be a free/ cheap cull by responsible licensed rifle men ;-)
  12. Mine loves cuddles! He is a very nice dog but I would not cuddle the fxxker though ha ha
  13. Well that shows how much i know about them ha ha
  14. Thought this was funny. Wheaton showing its soft side ha ha
  15. They are a simple single thickness length of 30 or 25mm webbing, about 5 foot long, with a hand loop at each end. I only sell them (give them away actually) with collars though, the £20 for the lurcher collar includes 2 slips and £4 postage. I am really happy with mine. Collar fits perfectly and excellent quality. Worth every penny. Will be buying more, my ESS wants one now lol
  16. Really pleased with the whippet leads and collar. the quality is second to none. great guy and very good price.
  17. Looking forward to my whippet collar and slip lead. Can't wait. Sick of the cheap collars breaking.
  18. If your in Wrexham area any time I have an albino hob you can have (this years).
