  1. Cheers for the comments folks. Ditchy, yes it was a dog mink, big boy he was. The vans kitted out in the back solely for the dogs, the middle bits for gear and the fronts got three seats for us lot.
  2. It would take that size of dog yes. It'd have to be sent by courier, not sure of cost.
  3. Double sided dog cage with removable centre partition, fits most estates and vans. Can take big lurcher either side or several smaller dogs.£50 Central Scotland.
  4. Went to a bit where we do twice a year for foxes on Saturday, bushed one out of each of the first two drives and never got a go at either, bad start.Onto the next drive and my mate went to sit with the two lurchers(and gun) whilst me and another mate pushed a small wood through,he slipped the dogs to retrieve the shot fox and this time the deed was done, pressure off.Carried on even though heavy rain had started,in the hope of something to ground. After checking a couple of earths which were empty my mate found a nice 7 holer on a burn bank which his bitch marked keenly,we netted up and put my bit
  5. Shame she's gotta go Roy,sorry to hear that...but if it'd ben her hairy sister then that'd swayed me.Good luck in rehoming her.
  6. Think thats what its called...anyone seen it or got it? Also both old ways of poachers wanted.
  7. Good news about the lump but it can't say much about any other terriers you've had if this 8 mth old is the best you've ever had!
  8. Your back gardens like a swamp though Kreet with all the mutts running loose out there. Lurcherlass, have you had the dog to the vets about it having a ferret growing out the side of its face.
  9. I for one am glad about this,I've lost sleep thinking about this bitch. My dilema was kennel space,if i could've juggled things around to accomodate her then she'd have gone long before now.Hope she's gone somewhere decent where she'll be used for what she's designed for and treated right.

    blitz lamp

Right heres the answer you need because the others obviously haven't read your question right before offering there opinions.YES you would need night vision equipment of some description to be able to use the infra red filter that is available for the blitz. It just looks like a black filter and when you switched the lamp on you wouldn't see anything with the naked eye, you'd need n/v.
  11. "Tested on anything" you've gotta be shitting me,the bitch is only 6 mths old, what exactly do you want it tested on at that age! Are you the boy from Stranraer that has a different dog in the paper every week?
  12. He truly is the "daddy" of trapping/snaring.He taught me all i know about snaring as a youngster aswell and when the rabbit population was booming by me i took my fair share using the methods he taught me,unfortunately i haven't set a rabbit wire for years because there just aint the rabbits for it here now but i'll always know how to if they get there numbers up again.I stay not far from Glenn and don't visit nowhere near as often as i should, the mans got a heart of gold and will teach the genuine sort in life but can spot a bullshitter from miles away.RESPECT!
  13. Thats what his wife says to him aswell...lol.
  14. By the sound of it your talking about the Lucas rooflight,I don't know where you can buy them though.I much prefer the lightforce stuff but each his own i suppose.
