I'm gonna be selling my mk1 terrier stuff shortly as i'm going b&f,i'll need to sort through it and find out exactly what i've got but if anyones looking for them let me know and i'll get back to you once i've sussed whats here.3 or 4 boxes and 5 collars i think.

Tremendous,you just can't beat a bit of ratting can you! A lot of my good ratting haunts have dissapeared over the years in this ever increasing "cleaner,more hygenic" world we live in these days.I still get a bit but nowhere near as much as i'd like.Good luck to you.

Central Scotland and good homes for the pugs is more important than money.The gear isn't getting used here so might aswell go somewhere that its gonna be of use,offer me something,i'm feeling generous.

2 longnets and a pile of rabbit snares on tealers,one of the longnets is the traditional "iron end pin type" probably about 30yds long,the other is on poles,it will need a bit of attention,not sure of length,50yd ish. The snares are pegged up and have been used,good nick though,theres about 100 i think. I also have three ferrets to go aswell.

My 15 month old beddy/whippetxbeddy/greyhound bitch has started an annoying habit when lamping rabbits,she has taken to stalking squatters,when slipped she'll run in then stop halfway there and start to creep forward she also half heartedly runs rabbits aswell not putting her all in pulling up short long before the rabbit reaches cover.She has had about 130 rabbits now and used to take sitters.Any ideas why she's doing this and how to stop her carrying on this way?

I think this has already been touched upon but i couldn't find the original thread so started fresh. Is anyone seeing pairs going about? I was out tonight and seen 4 different pairs. I got two the other night within minutes of each other and expected the 2nd one to be a vixen after seeing the first one was a dog but it turned out to be another dog,maybe a couple of homo's eh. :11:

Whin give this person a break,he/she put it on as a question cos they obviously aint sure. Theres far too many so called experts on here that are to quick to jump down newbies throats and take the piss rather than help them.If you've got nothing decent to say then say nothing.

I've bought two mincers in the last month,both hobarts.Ones a 12 and the others a 22,i've put plenty through the 12 so far and i'm quite happy with it,i'm just cutting the rabbit into about eight pieces and putting them through bones and all,i got that for £100,it has three different sized plates with it,i find the bigger holed one the best.The 22 has had to have a minor bit of repair work done to it and is nearly ready to try,i got that for £40 after it failed to reach its reserve on ebay and i contacted the seller afterwards and arranged to buy it.I haven't had any bother with the bone spl

Whats the recommended antibiotics for cuts and bites on working dogs,i've had noroclav before from the vet, is this well thought of,my mates lurcher burst her leg open on a piece of farm machinery and somebody suggested Diclofenac,anybody shed any light on this please.

I come onto here to read P&G's articles on trapping and to see what he's catching,are you suggesting that i just scan past when i see your name and don't read the full post? I live in hope along with most of the members that you will eventually post something sensible and relevant to the topic.P&G is the trapping/snaring daddy,we know it and we all know that you know it,you just can't admit it.

Can only agree with you there,i met him the last time he was in Scotland and he is a genuine guy,knows his stuff when it comes to trapping/snaring without a doubt.Keep the pics coming P&G.

Is that you PL? My mate has a bull/greyxsaluki/grey bitch just now,she's 14mths and has had somewhere in the region of 70 rabbits,she's also had a handful of foxes,mostly with terriers on hand shortly after connecting so not really had the chance to finish one herself yet.Keen as tho.Out the game just now with a f****d toe nail.

I thought i recognised the parents/grandparents names,Boris is the sire of my mates bitch aswell and i seen Gus in action a few years ago now,both good dogs.

Tis a good read aint it,it tells of a fox's life in the wild and also has a character with his terrier that pursues the fox all through the book.It was originally called Cadno the fox when it first came out and is by the ED/RD editor David Harcombe.

They're to protect the birds feet from bites incase they catch something like a stoat,rat or squirrel when you're out rabbiting with them as often happened to me when i had my male harris,half the time you don't even see what the birds flying until its caught it if its just following on.
