An eskimo is driving through the outback when suddenly smoke starts pouring from the bonnet of his car. He looks up and see's a sign, Next town 5km. i would not get excited.. if your caught using a tv with no licence and dont pay the fine i recon it will be county court for a ccj getting cost's along the way..

i actualy know a chap that did this.. he just phoned the fire arms department and told them he was offered a gun and said gun is unlicenced. first copper said he cant put it on his licence second one told him to crack on so its off the streets problem is if it had of turned out to be a stolen gun he would of had to hand a name to the police

i wouldnt remove hare shooting at all, some parts of country have more hares than rabbits lol its the law that pisses me off not shooters im not in to shooting hare, but i have had the odd one. but i would not wish it to be taken as every bit lost to the antis is a step closser to losing all hunting rights in general. i dont expect that to happen but if it did i would be out with my nets while the rest of the town dare not put on a lamp.. ill get more hare than the rest of them put togehter

that might get shooters voteing to ban running dogs all together in a tit for tat sort of thing.. you dont have to like it or participate but all hunters should do there best to keep all hunting going. i dont run a dog but dont want the dog men to lose their sport. anti's will do enough damage

having read this again i see that some trad netters must fix the nets in the corners, i did not realise people did this, i do not as any think anything fixed is on the way from not being what i see as a traditional net and a step closer to being a quick set. but thats a different topic

i was trying to think about the benefit from this and wondered if you are fixing something not yet broken. i think what you are saying is the net is fixed to runing line top and bottom in the corners and because you do 2 different knotts the line gets tighter at the top. i do not fix my net to the running lines in any place at all so by placing the end pin in the ground then running the net with the bottom mesh and the top mesh wrapped around the peg with the knott and then doing the same when finishin at the other end before i place the end pin i see no need for the modifaction to the net
