Gooey, I can assure you that NO SALUKI has ever reached 43mph, EVER. Don't know what/where you're getting your information from. No saluki will have ever done 43mph!! Kin el, a saluki doing 43mph wouldn't need at least a minute to get to it's hare -

Anyway, Gooey, never mind guinness book of records or whatever, there has NEVER been a saluki that could get near a whippet over 150-200 yards. Never mind your silly little you tube videos etc. FACT!! -

Don't be jealous, Gooey. Just because your dogs are so slow it takes them about a minute - a minute and half to get on terms with their hares, then another 3-4 minutes to actually catch it. To be honest, if I ever owned dogs that slow, I'd have culled them all. -
I can feel a couple of week's worth of spaghetti westerns, and Jason and the argonauts type films coming on!! Can't be doing with all these 'complicated, got to follow every line that someone says' type films, to know what's going on!!

Yep, he also has the great, great uncle to it, something like that? Lol. They are only mini dachshunds, so don't really need miles of exercise at a time, but he's out and about with them at least three times a day, besides taking them to the garden, his pride and joy, just to relieve themselves.
