  1. Easily, ask magoo. His dogs are absolute superstars. Wowser? Kin el katch, that's almost as camp as mushroom's 'ouchy'!! ??
  2. And again, like I said earlier, that goes back to what I said before, about british bred, successful coursing dogs being better than the c o o dogs.
  3. They the fastest antelope/deer/gazelle in the world, even though they're more closely related to girraffe. Lol, I'm getting the hang of this google nonsense lol. ?
  4. I agree with that, apart from the dogs being impressive lol. Says something really, when they are breeding some of their c o o salukis to british born coursing breds and greyhounds, or is that just a rumour I read?
  5. I get that, but those dogs are obviously naturally acclimatised to those temperatures. Not looking to argue with anyone, but those dogs were far from impressive.
  6. Well, those couple of clips rio just put up don't exactly paint those dogs in glory. A dozen dogs, and a jeep, and they still didn't catch it. Yep, another level, crap level.
  7. Ok, well this sort of goes back to what I said on here a few years ago. I said that the british bred salukis, the successful coursing dogs, would surely be better coursing dogs than c o o salukis, as the european brown hare is bigger, stronger and more athletic, so therefor correspondingly harder to catch, than the hares that are native to the countries that the saluki is from.
  8. What you mean by 'restrictions', magoo? No punnery or 'witless' banter, am genuinely interested. ?
  9. Very nice mate. Spitting image of a bitch I owned, 30 odd years ago. Deer/grey x beddy/grey dam, deer/grey x norfolk type sire.
  10. Ah right, certainly is a nice, strong bitch. ?
  11. I thought you already have one, or is it not 50% gwp 50% grey?
  12. What's that mate? ? By the way, yep, those galgos do look to be pretty robust.
  13. There can be only one, ramirez! ?
  14. f**k all wrong with saying WHIPPET, magoo lol. ?
  15. Not a first cross, but something I've thought of more than a few times over the years, a 3/4 greyhound 1/4 german shepherd. I get on with gsd temperament etc, owned a cracking bitch years ago. 3/4 greyhound, as I believe they'd be a little more versatile than a first cross, but I'm basing that on a lot of the ground I've ran dogs on, the last so many years, so maybe a tad unfounded? But you really do need plenty of pace in most of these places.
  16. What type would that be? ?
  17. Agreed, seen some crackers thus bred.
  18. @McHull, you seem to be mellowing, and changing your opinions of any running dog that's NOT just sal/coursing bred. ?
  19. I an I, and I an I mrs, is on da wolf blaaaass, seeen ?
  20. What is so hard for you to believe that no other dogs, apart from saluki/coursing breds, can catch hares? No-one has said any different. Maybe not with 100+ yards law, but loads of dogs up and down the country have, and do, catch hares. Like has been said, most people, on this site or not, will have pracically no interest in coursing the same way you are into it. And if truth be told, it'd bore most of us to tears! Doesn't mean their dogs can't catch hares though. You keep on beating the same drum though, and it's gone from being a bit of banter, to you ridiculing people's dogs and c
