    There were a fair few whippet/russells and whippet/grey x russells in the early 80's. The ones I seen were cracking small vermin dogs. ?

    I wouldn't know, as I'm not a 'terrier/digging person', but would the more modern lines of patterdale be more mute than the original lines, due to more bull terrier blood being added?

    You think there might be a touch of saluki in her, d c, got that grizzle ish sort of shading to her coat, or is that just age? Nice looking thing mind, and reminds me of several of the lurchers we had years ago, and we weren't 100% sure of the breeding. ?
