    Yep, plenty of people have deer/greys bred by him, up and down the country, that are happy with how their dogs perform in the field. He must be satisfied with that. Can't see what's to be achieved, other than monetary gain, by having them recognised by the kc.

    Yep, agree with that. It's been quite a few years since I actually went to watch any tournament or competetive bout. Really have lost any 'real' enthusiasm for it. As you've previously said, and again above, the politics and silliness involved with it all, has now got too much for me personally, to try to get my head around. Lol

    Not boycotting it over price, 20 notes is peanuts. But your second post, above, along with a few other posts that I've read, and agreed with, are the main reasons I won't pay to watch another fight. The last few years especially, boxing, as far as I can see, has become a bit of a disappointing joke, be that through the promoters, boxers that evade each other until it's too late, you tube nobodies that can get a fight because they have so many 'internet followers' or any or all of 5, 6 or seven other ridiculous excuses. Yep, both past their best now, and like I've seen with a couple of interviews etc, am expecting more of a 'fight' than a proper boxing contest, especially after the first couple of rounds. Didn't realise khan aint fought for 2 1/2 years, and brook for 1 1/2 years! If this had been 3 or 4 years ago, I think it could easily have been one of the biggest ever british fights.

    Just throwing this out here as a general matter of interest. Anyone on here buying the khan brook fight on ppv? Personally I won't be, as I promised myself, about 3-4 years ago, that I wouldn't pay for any more. And secondly, even though they're trying to whip up enthusiasm and interest in this fight, I'm just not 'feeling it' like I would've if they'd done this fight maybe 3 years ago.

    Lol, compare that to an aquaintance of my old mate. Similar sort of scenario, but with two 10 month old salukis, brother and sister. Slipped the pair of them, ran straight up the beam, and kept running, and running, and running lol, never to be seen again!! Lol The fella looked a tad relieved, to be honest lol

    Yep, seen more than a few pure greyhounds take deer comparitively easily, compared to some other types. All in the past now though, eh? ?

    I have heard, from an associate, that pure greyhounds were, and have been used, extremely successfully on a variety of deer.

    I don't know how you reference fast or slow, Magoo, but no, I wouldn't say fallow in general are particularly fast, but, sometimes you'll get one that certainly is fast.
