True Lab, How many reds has your lumps got? None......and i've no idea what the grand parents or before that have either. The bitch was bred because she was ace at her job to a friend who had a dog similar at its job.....and thats the way it will stay with me.....

You could probably read 20 books and get 20 different training methods. Some would say 'you must do this' and then next would say 'you shouldn't'.....why dont you get out there and see first hand practical trainers doing there stuff. If they have trained up a kennel full of dogs that you would like in your kennel then there a sure bet for experience and knowledge. Buying a pup from a strain of FTC wont guarentee you a top dog...................

No the black 1 is really timid and wont come that close. They are both hungry so had a feed, not the right thing to do i know but f**k it. Probably just hang around the place and grab a feed now and again. The mice around here this year have been in abundance. They'll need to have there wits about them when the Labs' are out.......pups will be fine but they'll be a snack for Buzz.........

Thats the thing i can see it keeping the mice and rats down which is a good point but realistically if it kills any of the birds in the rearing field then its dead, end off. I'll nip round the farms tomorrow and if its not theres then it looks like we have a fecking cat.....

I agree with you there, my missues got bit seperateing my male from her mothers ab, both hands stiched and me doing the ironing/nappy changes etc for thee weeks...couldnt complain my dog broke out to find the other male...6am in the morning and me in the buff in front of her mother....not good... Two lttle dogs wouldnt have had the power to damage her that quickly... mind you her moms mental scars are still evident... pmsl.....................

Funny thing is i grew up with a family cat but once it died i never wanted another one and i am slightly allergic to them............. But when she sees it that will be it f****d, hope to god someone has lost a cat from one of the farms.............

Recently been getting the black bin liners burst open that i put outside. Put it down to a rat or a brave fox coming in. Well tonight i thought i'd have a wee look outside and there were 2 kittens there. When i opened the door the both scarpered but 1 came back when i called. It looked hungry and even let me pick it up so they defo aint no farm or feral cats. We live about 2 miles from the nearset town so i reckon some c**t has dumped them........... So al have to nip to the local farms tomorrow and ask if they have lost a kitten.....if not the little b*****d will probably have a home as s

I disagree. They see me as a dog as much as they see the cat as one. Where's the question Simo? lol. Fear aggression needs a completely different approach, and the breeds also need to be taken into account. Handling fear aggression with a heavy hand will only increase the fear and increase the problems. Very few dogs are born aggressive towards people - they would be no use to us if that were the case - but guarding a valuable resource is natural to any animal including humans. My Golfing buddy won £20k on it a year or two ago. Then his misses won The Price is Wright a few weeks after. He now gets asked regularlly to go on shows. Got to be in it to win it. Mind he loves it.

Look the problem is the owners.....some folk point blank should just not have dogs, especially well known little terrier types that could have an attitude problem. They thought it was a good idea to wear f*****g wellies to feed it.. and thought it was a good idea to stand and shout across a room rather than shift it from the bed. Dogs will push boundaries....if they had skittled it across the floor with a strong "No" the first time it showed any aggression then the problem wouldn't have arisen. Sorry mate but i wasn't point the finger at your making out your were anyway lazy. As long as you realise when the dog comes back that you will still need to learn how to keep the dog working. Its going to be difficult as you say since you work away but it will come.
