I think Millet is talking about the carnage they can cause rather than the condition of the HGV's nowadays. But to be honest i'd rather drive on the roads full of HGV's than drive with these pricks in cars who have no confidence on the roads and just get in everyones way. Baw mate you're wrong...I blame the government and years of liberal elitism...30,40,50 years ago not having a job and being on benefits would have been a hard shift and being disabled basically meant you had to get on with things yourself...it would have been a no frills life.... Pmsl mate......Done the very same trick to my pal a good few years back. Gave him the ball, he teed it up and boom all this white shit covered the tee..I was rolling about the floor greetin.... Lol When I was younger trying to learn back spin I thought I had it sussed. We used to walk to the golf course and there was 2 parks with a main road going through it and some houses. Well I tried to crack it over the road and spin it on the other side. No luck I thinned it, hitting the kerb and rebounding through the nearest window. Cost me £36 pocket money that b*****d window...:-)

Ok right mate I re read you post again and see what your saying.... Got a 'was' and 'wasn't' mixed up.... Lol Not really directed at you, it's just my observation on picking up over the last few years. I agree with your last post though. I've mentioned plenty times that picking up dogs are much different to trialling dogs. Both excel in what they are trained too do..:-)

Ok scenario here......your standing at a drive, a cock bird falls 150 yards behind you in a large clump of bushes. You know it's a runner so you send the dog. Dog gets too bush and is working it when a cock bird breaks out to the right and runs to the nearest wood. The Keeper sees it but your dog refuses to take the line and you don't pick the bird. 10.8 mate. As I say I wanted to improve but when they didn't allow me into the men's section I got totally pissed off. It was the difference between 6-8 tournaments and 20-25. Biggest reason I can't get my handicap down is I hit it a long way.... So when it's wrong it's way wrong.... Lol If I play regular my handicap should be nearer 8. I'm the type of player you want to partner at match play...;-)
