  4. Don’t know we’re the photo has gone but looked the handy sort looked pleasing on the eye
  5. ? phil I’m in the same thinking these days as your reply I’d rather a dog built to last that can take a nock or two than a out an out flying machine or a kennel full of dogs that have been loyal to me but ended up on the scrap heap it makes more sense an economical to go down the sturdy type of dog road don’t get me wrong I love a racey dog in full stride
  6. Meow!? nice looking dog either way??
  7. Think any feet can get smashed up it’s all the short straw game. That’s it all options an what we settle for an thinks right don’t think there’s no write or wrong answer
  8. I like that dog phil looks a handy dog
  9. All a risk what ever footed. I don’t rate long greyhound toed dogs or loose footed id rather take my odds what I found works for me an that’s tight feet that’s given me less troubles to cast my judgment or opinion on an I don’t think I’m wrong in that opinion as it suits me
  10. Never really had trouble with a dog with tight feet but had trouble with loose feet or long toed dogs I can’t speak for what’s right or wrong by anyone else’s accounts just what I like

  13. That’s mad! but people breed out of fanny dogs that’s what they get fanny dogs. Sadly beddy xs in general are becoming a laughing stock
  14. Gotta be more useful in modern time than a whippet greyhound as a working dog you know the uses of the cross as you got one but not many wanna breed a f1 beddy greyhound they’d rather pump beddy whippets out for pocket money
  15. To be honest if he’s got good coursing greyhounds he’d be better off breeding f1 bedlington greyhounds ?as there’s a few welsh lads still nocking about with decent enough beddys there would be a lot more demand for them than whippet greyhounds the beddy greyhound are more suited to modern day hunting on any ground day or not an have a crack at any quarry there well put together for a nock of two very trainable an run every run like it’s there last there recovery time is good an last a nights lamping admitted there never going to be fast as a w/g but hunting dogs ain’t just about out an out spe
  16. Something I noticed if you cut out sugar in tea or coffee no crisp, chocolate, puddings sweet stuffs fizzy drinks eat more whole foods not processed foods like chips an takeaways an limit your self on white bread potatoes an pasta difference is noticed but don’t expect it straight away it takes time but it’s definitely noticeable ive heard people say bet it’s expensive to eat decent I personally think it’s cheaper to eat whole foods
  17. Great little dogs used to have a lot of hunting with whippet an there xs (beddy) until about 5yrs ago my family member called it a day for actively working dogs as he retired from the game just enjoys a bit of mooching about now with the dogs he has left but there getting on a bit now. I think I’d go for a dog some of them bitchs can be small an weedy id want him a dog something 20-21tts plus can’t be doing with them small dogs how often they come in season it’d be annoying for him if the bitch is a every 6monther that it was to breakdown
  18. Cheers shark I’ll have a little look never know in a few years time there might be a working whippet dog in my kennels/household my 7 yr old at the minute son keeps saying he wants his own running dog so he can come out with me but my misses has said no.I just said son leave it with me by 10yrs old if your still interested in a dog your have your own dog ya mums got no say in the matter I think a working whippet would be spot on for a young lads first running dog
  19. Alright mate I think you could pick just about any of the traditional stuff an come up trumps your can’t really go wrong from worker to worker bred something of maybe collie beddy whippet an greyhound mix breeding pretty good on every land an what size range there bred from if your not looking for a hero there a good cross I rate beddy an collie base blood mix in my Lurchers mine are good family dogs great around young kids an family members an lethal in the field there have a crack at any form of hunting day or night an any quarry they can be tough hunting dogs if bred right people think beca
