We seem to get rats in the garden once the cob corn fields over the road is harvested come early autumn time being semi rural they seem to head towards people’s gardens/sheds trying to get easy pickings on food there’s a lot of old people round me an there gardens are perfect habitat for rats old sheds and crap laying about got a old couple next door to me they got 4sheds and loads of other crap I’ve seen rats darting across there garden from there garden under my fence this year I had a couple of runs leading across my garden and down the fence line I said to them sort it out I’ve young kids

The thing is most these lads that go to a fight with a knife even if they don’t use it and are just waiving it about giving it the big un it insights retaliation at a later date and it’s usually with a knife because you’ve already determined the type of fight you want so the retaliation is with a knife. Yeah was a shame really nice little car just bruised up but not badly hurt Volvos are built properly like army tanks. them little novas wasn’t built to last they got a timeless look to them with the box arches bit like the lancer delta rally car back in the day I was looking for a nova a couple of months ago as I had a idea in my head of getting back in to cars and doing a project build I wanted to build a rally car as a project but soon gave up on the idea when I started looking at basic car prices and the gear needed to build it the little nova definitely wasn’t built to last

Another good car I had back in the day that I got for a bargain price was a nova Sri I give £150 for it the lad that owned it had paid £1400 for it a couple of months prior it had a scorpion Alarm and immobiliser fitted and mobilised its self he was quoted £1000 for a auto electrician to remove the immobiliser so I asked what he wanted he said scrap value so give him £150 I didn’t need the car but it was a mint one got it recovered to my girlfriends parents gaff me and her old man removed the alarm and immobiliser within 15mins I was on the road in it the following day rapid little car kept it

Cheap small engine cars round my way are none existent now due to the scrapage scheme they used to have running I just got lucky probably wouldn’t find a car that cheap again. The pinto engine is a legendary engine mate strong and revs to the moon I’m sure the ford cosworth engine is loosely based off a pinto but with a 16v head and turbo still see a few blue birds at the heavy metal classic god knows were there finding them same as the granadas and cortina’s some of these cars are buggered when they get them they fix em to twist them almost seems a shame but it’s there hobby same as some of these big old jags

I love a bit of banger racing I don’t race but get to a few meetings a year I’ve got mates and there kids that race in the national hot rods,prod rods and drift rods. We have a lads day out the first meeting a year the heavy metal classic it’s a brilliant day out we always talk of us all building a banger each to race but I don’t think my body would be able to handle the overs bangers but the micro bangers I’d be up for but seems a lot of money to waist just to build a car to bend up. Started growing a bit again didn’t grow nothing last year as our little veg plot was flattened as we changed the garden round completely this year we decided to do a little pallet collar garden we got 10 to grow in. already got a few bits in we’re doing spuds in buckets and tomatoes the rest in the pallet collars we’re doing it no dig but trying to be savy with it the minute something is harvested something goes back in making a big push to get my kids involved in it

Said no charges were bought against them apparently.
