Petrified ?? I must have something about me I’ve already bred dogs better than what handjob has produced in the last 2 decades Just from putting one pairing together tells you all you need to know will you be looking for a stock man katch?
-
Old we katchum handcock over here ??

Ffs shaaark ????you should know by now I’m easy going I’ve my own preference for what I thinks right for my self an my needs but I do like a smallest drop of collie in my Lurchers but not to much as I’m not smart enough to handle to much collie I like a dog that don’t think to much about caching stuff but can’t really say what other people like or should be keeping it don’t work like that does it that’s up to them I do like to have a little crank ?now and again but in honesty I’m neutral as you already know I’m a traditional type of Lurcher guy bedlington xs are my thing but all the old stuff

I do a bit of biking but not much if round the road in the nearby town on a lead I don’t really have no problems unless a cat pops up then it’s a case of legs out brakes on hold tight I’ve not been pulled off yet I try An spot things before they happen but normally the dog just casually canters by the side of the bike no problem if out in the country side off lead dog can run by the side of me no problem

Best way colliejohn I’ve become the same breed for what you need or if you can’t be bothered to breed take a pup from your own gear bred by someone else where you know what’s in it. f**k what any one else thinks it’s the way forward and you know we’re you stand with your own gear

Like round our way farms that were pretty good have nothing left most farms soon as the crops are dropped all the John Wayne’s come out the wood work an plays them An the land is cleared. Land that’s been sat dead for a while there coming back I’ve noticed pockets all over our spots were there’s a few kicking about recently I counted 17 rabbits across a small hedge row I’ve permission on but have noticed land that has no public walking ways through seems to be doing better than other places I’ve notices little pockets all over the place both sheep farms I do there seems to be plenty to go at I

As northernlite as said he’s probably done them a favour I mean just because Hancock as packed in genuine collie xs won’t stop someone will see the gap in the market an fill If it’s working orientated the person breeding them might breed out of working dogs for work ??Collie xs pop up only the other day on here I see a kelpie x greyhound f1 litter due out of stuff that does a bit. Tbh I’m pretty happy with the fact the puppy farm as closed down the lurcher world don’t need it the working Lurcher world produces enough work bred Lurchers to go round plus more but I’m still a believer in the lurc

Thing I always find strange about ads like this there not very well written out they give little information on important stuff like age of the parents or if there actually working but put plenty about stuff that’s not important to sell pups -
I know it’s big enough for most things if the dog has Hart for the job my mate used to use a 21-22tts bitch on roe regularly as clock work an family member used to use little beddy whippets as fox dogs they were only 19 &20 both single handed regulars at doing them this was yrs ago i know a few dogs from 22-24 retrieve shot fox an tracking shot roe I know another under 25 bitch tracking shot fallow single handed size is just numbers of Hart is there there do the job

Very hard shark but it’s one of them things we like to try An guess the outcome not that it would make any difference as the bitch has a home for life big or small what she potentially end up she’s grown 1/2 inch in under a week so she’s growing like a weed
-
I’m hoping about 23that’ll do me lovely two crows ??24 just as good I wouldn’t want anything over 25 again or under 21 again for round here medium size dogs are just the ticket
-
You could be right fella you never know
-
Yeah there’s deerhound on both sides of the breeding the sire to these as a little more deerhound and bedlington in there than the dam
-
I don’t know dan I’m undersided some times I look an think she could be a reasonable size bitch then other times I think maybe she’ll be around the 22 mark like most bedlington crosses one of the dogs in the litter is a whopper 15tts an massive paws but I try An look back at photos I’ve got got of my old dogs as pups an try an compare lol this size malarkey amongst us running dog lads hey we all want to have a guess not that it’ll make no difference to end product they either have it or they don’t. I can’t wait to see final size build coat I’m hoping this bitch has some weight behind her I pur

My big line bred collie cross has loads of none ped in there the person that breeds them don’t get no little whippet things pop up because there tight bred i pup my bitch to a bedlington greyhound and had a variety of size An builds, coats pop up out of both litters I had one you’d put money on was a none ped I think if you tight breed it can be controlled but the minute you out cross to none related blood that’s when various pops up -

Finding a real working bedlington here in the uk is a challenge in its own right unless you know we’re your looking loads of bedlingtons here are just bred out of because there a bedlington mostly for names in there kc reg most bedlingtons that are studded out to running dogs are lied about how good they actually are at working it’s a gamble -

A guy local as a bedlington x whippet greyhound he was expecting a big dog as parents were a half decent size it turned out about 20 to the shoulders.with this cross you have 2 factors that shrink a Lurcher in size if your after 24tts I’d go for a bedlington Lurcher to lurcher bred dog with out whippet in there with a bit of size about them an hope for the best -
Hancocks a peddler fact so are over half the idiots in the Lurcher game these days always breeding and selling an swapping dogs having a new pup to bring on every season then that disappears An a new one is introduced an the cycle continues. It’s a simple case with Hancock pay your money take your chances least it’s what he’s saying it is with the lurcher world the odds are now the same pay your money take your chances and it’s probably not bred how there saying it is or doing what they claim
